Something Special

I rarely write reviews but these Bose in - ear noise canceling headphones are amazing! The company has really done something special with this product. Best sound I've ever experienced and I've owned multiple Bose, beats, Harmon karden headphones. Just incredible
I loved the earbuds while they lasted. But Bose got the cabling on this one completely wrong - Bought a pair in late 2014 and since beginning of the year I started experiencing cable problems. The Bose 'insignia' on both earbuds also fell off. Not to mention that the battery started peeling away and the controls completely stopped functioning. Now have to shop for new earphones. Concededly, the QC20 are unmatched as far as noise cancelling is concerned BUT, considering the price, I would hesitate in recommending them if you are looking to buy something that will serve you for more than a year.

Bought these headphones after doing some research and checking out a lot of reviews. Seemed like most people praise them pretty highly so I took the plunge and bought these even though they're a bit pricey. Received my earphones and was eager to try them out the first evening I got them. Was super impressed with the sound cancellation function and used them for about 4 hours the first day I got them and was really happy. Then the next day I put them on to listen to some music while I worked at the computer and I started getting terrible popping and static coming from the left earbud whenever the sound cancellation was activated. Thought it might be a bad connection, but no. Tested it plugged into my computer, phone, hand held game console, and even unplugged. Same issue, terrible popping and static no matter what whenever the sound cancellation is activated. This is the worst experience I've had with such an expensive product in a long time. Did not expect this from Bose.

The quality of sound and noise cancelation is super high, unfortunately, I had to return them back because I've come to realise I got a bad headaches after using them for a couple of hours.
I have had my QC20i earbuds since 2014 (or there about) - and I've loved them ever since. Their comfort is unmatched in any other earbud product I've tried, and there isn't another noise-cancelling earbud that even comes close.
Remember - we're talking about earbuds, not over the ear headphones (which will always cancel more sound).
I've worn mine nearly daily - when I sleep, when I need peace and quiet, in the chair at the dentists office (trust me, they're life savers there) - and obviously on planes.
To be fair - I'm actually on my third pair of them - as I've had the first two have issues with one of the earbuds splitting about 1/2 way through the warranty period.
But THAT'S what makes this such a worthwhile purchase: you see, I haven't had a single issue with product support. Bose stands behind their products in a way that I've almost never seen a company do. It's superior to even Apple Care - by miles.
If you make no other high-end audio purchase - buying this (or any other Bose product) is definitely the way to go. I know that I'm not buying anything less.
Great sound; however. product wore out very soon! Cable wore out where it meets with Noise Cancelling system

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are glad to hear that you were happy with the sound quality and are reaching out through email to offer a solution.
Appearance: The actual ear buds stick out a bit too much causing me to look weird, when I've got my hair tied back. I really like the colour scheme used on the headphones.
Comfort There is nothing to complain about when it comes to comfort except for one thing, which is the battery pack to charge the headphones. Earbuds are very soft and gentle, very comfy in your ear and you could barely feel them
Durability I have only had these earphones for 3 months. Using them on a daily basis, I have noticed no problems, but I am condemned with the cable going in and going out of the amplifier (battery pack). I have a feeling that it might tear one day.
Noise reduction Only have one issue: when you get into the car and close the door, it created this very loud sound similar to a boom or something. Traveling in public transport i.e. metro, I have noticed changes in NR intercity. Sometimes it starts going off for a fraction of a second, but still very noticeable.
Sound quality It's perfect. Nothing to say here.
Portability The amplifier is taking up lots of space. That's annoying, doesn't fit in every pocket.
Charge. An automatic switch should be added, overall, impressed. Never ran out.
Microphone Not bad quality, good in noisy conditions.
