One star missing for the following reason

I have owned these since they came out and overall am very happy with them. Prior to the in ear version I have owned two versions of the over ear. My biggest complaint is the lack of an extra large ear tip. Part of the noise cancellation requires a tight seal in the ear and for those of us with larger ear canals the large size tip is not enough, I have asked technical support for an extra large ear tip but to no avail. Thus the missing star. Make an extra large ear tip and I will add the last star in. Happy to pay for it,
I don't know what the reviewer who gave this a 1 star for not being noise cancelling is talking about. I cannot hear my wife tv in the same room. When we are traveling and one of us snores, I won't say who, I put in one ear and turn on the power ( no music or sound), and sleep like a baby. Today on the airplane, it was a pleasure not to hear the screaming kids! We bought each of our adult sons one for Christmas. I love these headphones.
I traded up to these from QC2 headphones and I was skeptical about the change. I was assured that I could bring them back for my headphones again. That was two years ago. It takes some time getting use the the battery/electronic unit. I love the size and ease of having them in my bag full time. The battery last a long time. The sound is great and when your device has an equalizer, you can craft a custom sound that lets you hear more detail from the sound and the noise canceling works very well. Now I am waiting for a Hi Res head set Bose. Bring it on!
I am a 50 year old female who has enjoyed listening to music since the 80's era when music was music. I have owned Bose products for many years. My 3 desktop computers each have Bose speakers. I have Bose mini wifi speakers and my tv has the Bose sound system. I own 3 over the ear Bose headphones and now I own these. I have ordered 3 more sets, one for my 13 years old daughter and 2 for my work office and for my carry-on luggage bag. Yes, they are expensive but Bose has always made their products with the best technology which allows us customers to enjoy music they way it is meant to be heard.
There is no question Bose is the leader in noise cancellation technology. Once I knew that, the question was either the QC20s or QC25s. I debated about that for three months.
The QC25 has a great in finish and looks awesome but the versatility of the QC20s is much better; the noise cancellation, the relative small footprint and the respectable sound quality has made the QC20i the winner IMO.
Noise cancellation is better. I took my QC20i and tested against 2 QC25's in 2 different retailers. The QC20's was able to mute voices around and background noises noticeably better.
I guess sound is better in QC25s given the larger driver (I assume this since i own the bose soundlink II around ear). But for travelling and cancelling noise purposes the QC20 is the pick out of the two. No doubt.
My upgrade request or feedback.: 1. Electronic feedback comes through male connector plug in various situations when not connect to music just noise cancellation. When battery is fully charged noise begins or when male connector touches other items.
2. The on lighting diodes are too bright for when used for sleeping.
3. The cord is to short near battery and male connector.
I own 2 pairs, they are just perfect for travelling, commuting, and sound is great. Much more convenient to carry everywhere than larger traditional noise-cancelling headphones. I always have a pair with me in my bag. Great work, Bose !
I travel a lot with my bike and the noise cancelling feature in this earphone works perfectly to quiet down the wind noise inside the helmet. Really, even when you use open-face helmet. It's like magic! I live in Brazil and bought it one year ago, I use it a lot and it's still like brand-new. Congratulations Bose!
