So worth the money!

I bought this earphones (QC20i) after suggestion of one of my colleagues and as everyone is aware price is not cheap. But so wort the money! Honestly best thing I bought for long haul flights, working in an open office environment and whenever you need to turn surrounding noise off and simply focus without losing music quality. It does magic! I simply love to use it on plane, and they are easy to sleep with since they are buds I they are not falling off each time I turn my head. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! My only wish is that cord between mic and phone is bit longer.
Too good not to give 5 stars but quibble with case

I had previously owned the original QC2s and found them to work very well, but after losing them a few times on the airplane I decided to stop buying expensive headphones and looked for a less expensive option. I found a pair of noise cancelling earbud headphones that cost less then my QC2s, didn't work as well, but were more comfortable to sleep in or rest one's head and began to wish for Bose to develop and sell noise cancelling earbud style headphones. And now they have and while they've been out for a while now and the price has been a issue. But since I've flown a lot of miles and I had a multi-city trip with 6 flights and little sleep coming up I gave in and purchased the latest series QC20s for the iPhone/iPad. I was instantly happy remembering that like the old Rolls-Royce slogan that quality remains long after the price is forgotten.
The QC20s work so much better than the ones I had been using after losing my cherished QC2s. The amount of quiet on the plane is almost breathtaking. Of course they aren't silent - and I understand why. But the noise cancelling actually had me feeling joy while riding on the plane and looking out the window feeling "this is what flying can be like!" They are comfortable, if a bit odd looking with the little "Spok ears" sticking up.
Here are my quibbles: Like others I wish the cord from the battery to the plug were longer (or had extended included) My original QCs came with accessories and wonderful case as befitted the price. The QC20 don't even come with an airplane adapter let alone extended length cables. The case, while conveniently compact, could be a tad bigger and stiffer to fit accessories and headphones better. I wish the volume control worked on regular, non-iProduct inputs as well.
Final note: I can't believe I waited as long as I did to finally get the QC20s but I am very happy I have them now and look forward to my next flight.
I've owned numerous Bose products over the past 20 years, including over-ear noise cancelling headphones. These QC20i's are my absolute favorite. The noise cancellation is amazing, reducing even chainsaw and lawn tractor noise to faded background noise and completely eliminating most other noise. I wear these doing yard work, at the gym, on airplanes and anywhere else I want my own peaceful environment. The sound quality is also fantastic. I listen to everything from rock to Yanni and I'm hearing lyrics and instruments that I've never heard as clearly before.
I'm not sure why some others complain about durability, unless perhaps they got a defective pair, in which case they should contact Bose. I take very good care of my headphones, but I'm not shy about using them anywhere and I use them a lot. A year later, they're still in great shape.
If I had ANY complaint, it would be that I wish the cord between the plug and the battery were longer. I like and prefer the 90 degree plug, but I do wish the cord were longer.
I bought these fancy stuff 2 days ago,it is absolutely amazing,I'm telling you guys I used expensive earphones before but there is no quality to discuss of any earphone or headphone when in a noisy situation, you don't even understand what you listen, lets discuss about qc20 or qc25,there is no noise cancel with this price can better than these on earth, less people notice but they are very light weight,so where you can but battery thing people ask a lot ? The answer is ; where you put your phone ,you can put battery on..Peace..
The headphones sound great and the noise-cancelling factor is really awesome but the durability of the headphones is very poor. The buttons randomly stopped working so I couldn't use the headphones with my IPhone any longer. Then a week ago one of the ear buds decided to stop working on me. I'm very upset with the amount of money I spent on these headphones only to then have them stop working for me. :(

I commute to work everyday on public transportation. The noise level can get irritatingly loud. I purchased these for the air cancelling feature and have fallen in love with them. I am now able to listen to my music and block out the world around me.
I love these, not only for the sound quality, but but for the noise cancelling features. It doesn't block out sound, rather it makes these sounds soft background sounds, so you remain softly connected to your environment.
I have construction going on in my apartment block. So you hear the workers drilling into the concrete. That maddening sound, day in, and day out can drive a person mad. Turn on my Bose and watch these sounds fade in softly background sounds.
