i bought these headphones about 6 months ago and i cannot believe how great they are at first i was skeptical because the battery but it last longer than i expected and just blew me away with the quality of the product would recommend to any and everyone I LOVE THESE HEADPHONES!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the over ear version but didn't like that I couldn't rest my head/fall asleep on flights due to their bulk. I traded them in (which I never knew they did!!) 3 years ago for this version and I've been nothing but thrilled with them. Their versatility in noise canceling without the bulk is unparalleled. Couldn't recommend any higher.

Love noise cancelling and the size

I use them everyday on my daily commute. I can sit behind the engine of an MBTA commuter rail train and and they drown out the engine noise and any chatter among the passengers. They are also a must for air travel. What I find most appealing beyond the noise cancelling is the storage size. I've own a pair of QC15 headphones and the noise cancelling on these is equal and it takes up 1/5 of the space which is important for frequent air travel. I don't have room in my carry-on bag for larger items.
I really hope that Bose puts out a version without the battery that draws power from the phone or can come up with a smaller design for bluetooth. Until either of these is true, I'll be sticking with my QC20.

Great product!

I bought this headphones for myself, hoping to get a high quality sound and a great noise cancelling feature. I was not disappointed where I used them for the first time. It's been a year and the sound quality, noise cancelling and product quality built are fantastic. I just got another pair for my son, and he is also loving this product. The only -minor- thing I would suggest to improve, is the size of the battery holder. Once you go Bose, it's impossible to go back to anything else.

The Best Headphones EVER!!! ♥♥♥

I received these as a gift from a customer whom I helped lose 60 pounds. She knows I love to listen to music when I run or work-out in a noisy gym. These are surround sound and when used correctly, they cancel out everything. I am in my own world when I have these on

Great sounding headphones, but awful durability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones sound great and cancel noise well, but they are awful from a durability standpoint. I've gone through 3, soon to be 4 pairs, in the last 4 years. The connections areas of the wires to the battery pack area damage easily from being put in your pockets.
These are my daily headphones in NYC. I wear them while I commute, as well as while I work and listen to music. Needless to say, they get a lot of use. However, I always buy the SquareTrade protection plan because of how bad the durability is. For the price and how Bose markets these as your daily grind/commuter headphone, these should hold up for more than a year.

I bought these 2-3 years ago and this is definitely the best gift I did to myself!!! As I am travelling very often, it literally changed my life. Finished the time I had to put the volume at the close maximum to watch movie and barely understand what they say. Finished the time I heard people talking loud beside me. As I wear them when I sleep (I travel for to China--14 hours trip), finished the time I wake up every minute because somebody is coughing.
Believe me, this is not an expense, it is rather an investment in your life quality. The only thing I regret is not to have bought them earlier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones that I use at work, but they're kind of big and bulky, and I wanted something more compact for international travel. The technology in these earbuds is phenomenal! The older headphones are fine, but they really do best with blocking out "constant" noise (airplane, jackhammer, etc.) These earbuds really block out almost everything, even if it's not a constant sound. They worked amazingly for a 43-hour travel window to Africa, kept a charge and everything (I didn't have them on noise cancelation the full 43 hours, but didn't have to recharge 'til we got there). Then they worked amazingly while out on safari for nearly 2 weeks, where we were camping with lots of wild animal sounds that might have kept me awake. Instead, I slept like a baby. They are comfy, good sound quality (even with the noise cancelation turned on) and have continued to be a great investment now that I'm back at work and needing to more effectively block out boisterous co-workers. :) I guess they're not "cheap" but for me they are 100% worth the cost.
