Great Product, Great Customer Service

When I bought these I immediately fell in love. The noise canceling, comfort, and sound quality are all superb. A week later the headphones broke, but Bose was more than happy to replace them. Bose stands behind their products. I will gladly spend a little extra to buy Bose headphones because their customer service and products are so great.

worked on a plane

I was given these free as part of the Bose test and review program. I already wrote a review, but it was when I'd only had them for a day or two, so I wanted to update my review. I can't find a way to do it with an addendum, so just adding this way. The thing I wanted to add was that I flew to Florida last week and on my way home, I had a seat in the very back of the puddle jumper plane I was on for the last leg of my journey. I was sitting there trying to read, feeling annoyed by the constant loud airplane drone, when I suddenly realized I had these new headphones and wasn't this what they are made for? I've never used these kind of things before and didn't fully understand them until that moment. I put them in my ears and turned them on and the airplane noise magically disappeared. It turned out I could actually hear the flight attendant's voice pretty clearly, which surprised me, since my friend's voice had faded when i was first trying them out. But I guess that's what they're meant to do - drown out airplane noise. Anyway, I just wanted to add this, because they really did for brilliantly. I have nothing to compare them to, since I've never used these before, but I let my father try them and he is now thinking of buying some.

Best for NC, needs improvement for feedbacks

I love enjoying through the low cost flights with my QC20 with almost isolated mood once I turn it on. Its practical to carry than over the ear models and providing almost similar performance in terms of noise cancellation. However I would like to see a small OLED (least power consuming display) to provide feedbacks regarding what song is playing, caller id etc so that you wouldn't need to take your iPhone or other device to look for this information. It's been on the market with the exact same product for years, how about an needed upgrade afterall, Sirs?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bose Quiet Comfort 20 ear phones are unbelievable! I'm still trying to figure out how Bose was able to come up with this great technology. At one press of a button all outside sound is cancelled out, there is very minimal outside sound at all. I thought that by wearing them around for a few days I would get used to the effect, but every time I go from noise cancellation mode to regular mode it really surprises me! I also tried these recently during travel by plane and noise was cancelled out and I was able to enjoy my music with relaxation and sleep with no interruptions, which is what I need as I am a frequent traveler. Bose you have done it again with your great products and I recommend these to anyone! Thank you!

Perfect for the Harley

I love long road trips on the bike. Now I don't have to listen to drone of an exhaust any more than I want to. I'm able to mute out a 115 decibel motorcycle with these. Most importantly the aware mode allows the ability to hear what's going on when riding in the city. Very happy with the investment!

Quiet comfort is truly what they are!

I love these, not only for the sound quality, but but for the noise cancelling features. It doesn't block out sound, rather it makes these sounds soft background sounds, so you remain softly connected to your environment.
I have construction going on in my apartment block. So you hear the workers drilling into the concrete. That maddening sound, day in, and day out can drive a person mad. Turn on my Bose and watch these sounds fade in softly background sounds.

Wire issue

I bought these 7/2014 and I actually love them and they were the only earbuds I used however I soon noticed the design of the wiring. The port to plug them into your device is at an angle instead of a straight wire design and this places added stress on the wire depending on your device and activity you are using them for. The weight of the noise canceling box pulls on the wire which does not help. I have noticed over the past several months the sound was not as good and after investigating I discovered the wire was coming apart from the port to plug it in and it has now totally separated and cannot use the earbuds. for the cost of these it should have a much stronger wiring/protector and a better design. Highly disappointed that I now have to invest time and money to find some where to see about getting it fixed for it only to possibly happen again.

Does not work with the new iPhone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great product. The noise canceling feature is phenomenal. The only problem is that it won’t work with the new iPhone. You will need to go elsewhere and get a dongle. Such a hassle when you pay as much as you do for a product. Especially when it says it will work with iPhone devices.
