Great head phones - great in almost all aspects

I have owned probably 10-15 sets of headphones for various uses. I never had such a great head phones (QC20 - the old model where the controller has only one play/call control button in addition to the 'aware" button). The new one seems to have three buttons which is even better (when used with Samsung and other select phones).
I also own Quiet Comfort 25 (the over-the-ear noise cancelling head phones) which I used to use everywhere (esp. planes) until I bought these in-ear ones. The performance of these ear-phones is in-line if not better compared to its bigger sibling. Sounds quality is great and you will hear every and all parts of the music even on the road.
My only complaint with these ear phones is with the ease of use (only the battery part). The battery controller is so close to the headphone jack that it comes out of the phone everytime I take it out of my pocket (casuals, don't even want to talk about jeans). I wish it was made smaller and perhaps different material so that it is not so "sticky" to everything it touches. That may ease the pain a little.
Still I doubt there is any parallel to these ear phones in other brands despite all the flashy colors, amplified lower frequencies (where your drums take a beating) etc. Highly recommend these phones.

Really Surprised

To be honest, I was pretty skeptical of this when I first ordered it... However, after trying them out right out of the box, I was thrilled at the quality. Great, great sound quality, pretty good noise canceling, very comfortable. However, some things that knocked this product down from 5 to 4 stars is, there is this fuzzy noise in the earbuds sometimes (Its a little weird because it happens randomly). Maybe some more noise canceling (even though it's not bad.. not that big of a deal), and the lithium battery being too big and the cord not being long enough to fit into the pocket the battery into the pocket so it kind of hangs. Maybe for future models I'd like to see these close to the buds if you are able to make it even smaller, if not then maybe close to the aux input cable.

It can make funny low frequency noises.

I used these on a trip to Japan. I prefer the over-the-ear headphones for the plane trip but these work pretty well and sound good as well. They were much more convenient on this trip because I could shove them in my pocket and use them while traveling around the city as well.
The problem I have is that it can take subsonic low-frequency noises on the bus and the train and shift them to audible frequencies while riding on the bus or train. My guess is the noise canceling circuitry just can't handle certain subsonic frequencies. I would hope they would figure this out for how expensive these are.
Also, the short cord from the plug to the battery pack is a little too short.

Love my QC20's!

After using two "over the ear" QC products, I always wanted the "earbud" option, and you delivered EXACTLY what I was looking for! This is an excellent product, it holds a charge for a 15 hour plane flight, and the sound is incredible. Well done, Bose!

no fit for small ears

When I can get the buds to stay put, the noise cancelling is very good. However, I have a very poor fit, so it only lasts for 5-10 minutes before I have to try to re-seat them. I wish I hadn't traded in my my over-the-ear model for these.

Very great earbuds

I brought this a couple months ago and this is probably the best earphone i ever had. The sound quality is clear. The comfort is great. The design is good but the materials are very cheap looking. The Durability is good. The Noise cancellation is excellent. Overall, this product is superb and i would never regret buying it even though it is overpriced.
