Bought these last year, as said, the noise canceling work good, however the housing of the inear part fell apart, making them useless, also the cable to the battery looks fragile. I have several Bose products, this is the first disappointing experience.

Hi Andre,
Thank you for the review. It is always wonderful to hear from a loyal Bose customer such as yourself. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying the noise-canceling on the QC20 headphones. Having owned several Bose products, you know exactly the kind of high quality to expect from our products and service. The QC20 headphones are built to last, and should definitely not be falling apart like you described. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the headphones and would like to help.
We have sent an email to learn more and assist you with this, but we are also available by phone if you would prefer to call at 800-367-4008. We are here to help Monday through Friday 9am to 9pm EST and Saturday 9am to 7pm EST.
Love the sound quality that come with these headphones. They delivered exactly what I wanted. However, the battery life has been quite disappointing. Even when I have the noise cancelling feature off, it drains the battery. It says a reported 16 hours of battery life when fully charged. I have to charge the battery borderline daily and I only listen about once a day, sometimes once every other day.
I highly recommend these headphones because of the quality you are provided but if you don't have the opportunity to charge your battery regularly then I would re-consider. The noise cancelling is spot on. I cannot hear anything but the music while I workout or while I sit comfortably on the plane. The earbuds also fit nicely in my ear. They come with different ear bud sizes to accompany your ear, which can be nice addition if the default size doesn't fit well.
I strictly give these headphones a 4/5 because of the battery life and the slightly large external battery that is attached to the cable. Everything else is exactly what you want in a pair of headphones.
First flight with these was so quiet, the noise cancellation killed the all of thedroning background noise. I could still hear the cre announcements and my music sounded really good. My only bug is the box housing the battery and processor. It's has a two inch jack connection the plugs into your phone headphone jack and the rest of the earphone cord comes out the other end. The box just flops there. A holder that snaps onto the box and phone would be nice. Could be an accessory matched to the phone or case of choice or even a special case with a holder for the box.
Bought these from an airline in-flight catalog to replace defunct NC in-ear phones by another manufacturer. Everything about these QC20s is better: better ear fit, better passive isolation, better noise cancellation, better audio quality. And they're comfortable for long duration flights.
After 15 years of almost weekly flying, and never being able to sleep for more than 10 minutes at a time while flying, the noise canceling makes sleeping possible for hours. And in a lie flat seat, on my side with just one in my ear, I'm out !! Besides being able to cancel out loud announcements and loud fellow passengers, they have excellent sound quality. Nothing close, and worth every dollar, I'll never travel again without them. BUY
I purchased these on the recommendation of a friend. The sound quality at higher volumes breaks up and cracks. The piece of cord, with the plug, that comes out of the battery is way too short. They really are not that impressive. I gave away my QC15 Bose headphones, which were the best. Now I'm stuck.

Hello Ron,
Thank you for the review. We appreciate the feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the Quiet Comfort 20 headphones. This is definitely unusual. Our products are built to last and to provide excellent sound quality. It is possible that dust or a low battery can be causing the cracking that you are describing. Using compressed air to blow out the ports on the earbuds and ensuing that the battery is charged may help.
If not, it may be the headphones themselves. We offer world class service and we want to help you with that.. We have sent an email to learn more and assist you with this, but we are also available by phone at 800-380-4831 if you prefer to call. We are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 9pm EST and Saturday 9am to 7pm EST.
