Not good for NASCAR racing

Great sound but the noise cancelling does not block out the noise of the race cars. The over the ear headset might work better.

Got what I was promised.

Appearance:
The actual ear buds stick out a bit too much causing me to look weird, when I've got my hair tied back.
I really like the colour scheme used on the headphones.
Comfort
There is nothing to complain about when it comes to comfort except for one thing, which is the battery pack to charge the headphones.
Earbuds are very soft and gentle, very comfy in your ear and you could barely feel them
Durability
I have only had these earphones for 3 months. Using them on a daily basis, I have noticed no problems, but I am condemned with the cable going in and going out of the amplifier (battery pack). I have a feeling that it might tear one day.
Noise reduction
Only have one issue: when you get into the car and close the door, it created this very loud sound similar to a boom or something. Traveling in public transport i.e. metro, I have noticed changes in NR intercity. Sometimes it starts going off for a fraction of a second, but still very noticeable.
Sound quality
It's perfect. Nothing to say here.
Portability
The amplifier is taking up lots of space. That's annoying, doesn't fit in every pocket.
Charge.
An automatic switch should be added, overall, impressed. Never ran out.
Microphone
Not bad quality, good in noisy conditions.

Great for autistic people overwhelmed by sound

I have had these ear buds for over two years and I love them. I carry them with me every day & I wear them to sleep every night. They are very useful for a "high-functioning" person diagnosed with Asperger's like me, because they can reduce some background noise but are able to blend in as regular ear buds. They aren't Super Effictive as noise cancelling, if that's what you're looking for more than anything, I'd get ear plugs or drumming or construction worker's ear protecting headsets. They won't be able to play music, but they'll block more noise. If you're looking for something that is primarily able to play music, I would recommend these with all my heart. The main appeal is the music, and the secondary appeal is the noise cancelling. I've worn these at concerts, high school pep rallies, and even at drag show performances, and these ear buds help reduce the noise to a tolerable level. However, if you use them every day like I do, they'll get pretty worn. The soft plastic covering the box that you have to recharge has fallen off, and the wires on both sides of that have become exposed and I had to superglue them back. This is after a year of constant use/abuse by me, a high schooler, who shoves them into skinnyjean pockets frequently. They haven't been handled with much (or any) care bc they're part of my every day life, and they've held up surprisingly well. I've had to replace them twice over the years, once because one ear bud stopped working and so did the grey button that allows you to hear people with the noise cancelling on, and once because the grey button stopped working again, and because the wires were exposed. I would recommend these ear buds to anyone who has the money to get them!! I am going to wear these for the rest of my life, if possible. I've never had any other ear buds that fit me as well as these. I can (and do) wear them for hours and they don't hurt my ears at all. I plan on buying a second pair of these when I'm older and have more money. I'll be honest, I listen to music constantly, and I love the sound in these, but the main appeal is the fact it combines low-level noise cancelling with music and is comfortable, I don't really know or care much about the quality of sound because I'm 17, but I reckon it's pretty good. The only drawback is there's a bit of a hissing noise when the noise cancelling is on, and it does a funny thump when someone slams a car door because it isn't sure how to react.

Love Noise Cancelling hate Microphone placement

I bought the headphones half a year ago and used the them many times. Even if I'm on an airplane, in the bus where a school class walks in or in the classroom I'm very the noise cancelling function works great. Now to the part I can not understand how BOSE could overlook such a design mistake. When I'm using the microphone to call someone they can't hear me. I order to call I have to position the microphone very close to my mouth and hold it while talking, if I don't do so the person on the other end hears all surrounding noises but not my voice.
I think it can be an easy design fix since talking on the phone with my old BOSE headphones worked perfectly. The microphone should be placed higher and closer to the mouth. I would be so happy if you could fixed that if theres ever a new Version.

Terrible for phone calls

If you are just planning to utilize these for audio, then they are fantastic. The noise canceling is great and really helps with reducing volume.
I switched over to these from the QC15 over the ear noise cancelling headphones because I travel so much for work and needed something I could easily also utilize for phone calls while in transit.
They are TERRIBLE when you have the noise cancelling turned on while taking a phone call. The person on the other end can hear every single little bit of background noise. But if you turn off the noise cancelling, you can barely hear what the other person is saying.

Great Sound - Poor Design

I love my headphones! Sound quality, battery life. My issue is with the cable. After two years the cable that connects to my phone is frayed, wires exposed - about to break. For the money these did not last long. Would not buy again.
