What is the purpose of having a voice recorder that you can't backup to a computer? Or upload recorded messages to a computer?
Buy a cheap tape recorder, you'll get the same thing.
Sony's technical assistance is horrible, they cannot even answer my questions. If you need your files on a computer, avoid this model.
Also, this voice recorder comes with zero accessories. And the accessories must be ordered from Sony.
What's great about it: Records just fine
What's not so great: No way to get recorded files onto a computer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor interface. Poor sound quality. This is technology from the the 1990s. I would not buy this product.
What's not so great: poor sound quality, no ability to upload to computer, poor technology.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All kinds of Business item from are good.so i firmly believed that the Digital Sony Voice Recorder must be a good voice-activated recording tool.i will not miss it.

this was my first and only micro recorder i use it daily and the sound and recording are excellent and the price was a great deal compared to the other recorders i looked at
What's great about it: easy to start using price was a great deal
What's not so great: i have nothing but positive things to say about this micro recorder
I would recommend this to a friend!

When compared to other high-end recorders, this one is perfect for the price. For $100 to $200 more, I could get a stereo mic and USB slot, but I really don't need them. This recorder is perfect for my use.
What's great about it: Easy to use, simple features, very clear sound quality
What's not so great: No USB access
I would recommend this to a friend!
