Love this game...so far has been challenging and have been sore every day since I started. But its fun and though I stuck with the Wii Fit I still missed quite a few days with it. I love that it counts calories, something the Fit doesn't have.
This is a great product...I use leg and arm weights to boosts my workouts and bought the step accessory for the Wii Fit boad. Can only say I love it!!!
What's great about it: I don't have to figure out a routine!
What's not so great: resistance band could be better

This "game" is the best out of all the workout games that I own. I have Wii Fit, My Fitness Coach, and this one. This is by far the most fun and challenging. For anyone who says that the game does not register movements, all you have to do is make sure you are holding the controls correctly. They even TELL YOU how to properly hold the controllers. The people who are not able to register movements are probably the people who DID NOT watch the instructional videos BEFORE they did the exercises. Trust me, if you are holding the controllers PROPERLY, your movement will be registered everytime. Also make sure that the nunchuck is facing DOWN in the leg strap... and that the leg strap is high enough up on your leg so that it can track your movement. If you have it on too low, it will not work properly. SO basically to everyone having trouble... make sure your equiptment is ON and working properly!
What's great about it: challenging, fun, motivating

I absolutely love this fitness game! I have had the Wii Fit since it was out and never really used it that much since I had to keep going through the menus to get to the exercises. I do not have that problem with EA Active! The 30 day challenge is the best and I can really feel a difference with each day that I workout. I would recommend this to anyone with a Wii and especially if you don't like gym costs or all the eyes that watch you when you workout. Resistance band could have been made a little better, but you can pick those up anywhere! Do yourself a favor and get in shape with this fitness game. Love it!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow visuals for exercises.

I've had the game for two weeks and absolutely adore it. It is really good for those who have never worked out before, are getting back into working out, or are in great shape but want to do some extra work at home. The game is comprehensive-the creators understand that getting your heart rate up and then doing different isometric activities is the best way to tone up, reduce fat.
The videos are easy to follow, the personal trainer guides you through each actitivy and ensures that you do your reps correctly. It also detects your level of ability and then tailors the next day's workout based on your strengths and weaknesses (when in 30-day challenge mode).
The knee pocket holds your nunchuk and detects your movements, letting you know if you need to squat lower, move slower, etc.
It's also affordable: you don't need a Wii Fit in order to properly use this game.
What's great about it: Teaches you to do the exercises correctly and in proper rhythm
What's not so great: Wish it had more accurate calorie burn; way to monitor heart beat

I have had this product for one week and have done the 30-Day challenge religiously. However, today I bumped up the intensity level, and the Wii would not recognize the movements. After watching the promotional videos, and seeing 200+ lbs people, I felt hopeful that there was a product out there that would help me with my weight loss goals from the comfort of my home rather than going to a gym where people were constanly making fat jokes to my face. I am currently disappointed with the program, but will keep at it and give it the full 30 days, but I eagery await the expansion pack that EA Sports said would be available during the holiday season. Hopefully the expansion pack will have much more variety, and the programing will register the controllers movements much better than they do now.
What's great about it: Cheaper than hiring a real personal trainer plus the gas money to get there.
What's not so great: Doesn't register movements well.

I thought that this would be a good way to get back into excercise, and it is! However, I get sooooo frustrated when my movements don't register, specifically when running and doing bicept curls. I have limited time in the morning to exercise and usually cannot complete the session because of technical difficulties. Thinking of returning!!!

This is a fun fun game that will make you sweat and keep you attention at the same time. This is what makes it easier to lose weight. The first week was difficult and i was sore but i kept going because it kept my interest. Months later i'm still doing it and feeling great. Fun exercises that don't get old! It's also set up in a way where one cannot cheat the game to get through the exercises. So needless to say it makes you work for it. Don't worry if you don't have to Wii Fit balance board because the absence of it doesn't limit you at all. You can do everything without it. In fact the balance board kinda makes it difficult during some exercises because of the feeling you get when on it like you may fall off or feel unstable. Eliminate it and get to being active!

This a great game. I just got it and found it easy to get started. I loved that i really broke a sweat with this game. I am on day 6 and am feeling it all over. I only wish that the leg strap had a way to hold onto my basket ball shorts. I switched to a more cloth like material and it hasn't been a problem. This game is great for teens and up. My 7 and 4 year old want to work out with me but the leg strap wont work for them and they are just too small. Oh well it wasn't for them anyway.
What's great about it: Great exercise, Easy to learn, Helps keep you motivated
What's not so great: Leg strap on slipry shorts doesnt stay up
