DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA

MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA TO RECORD ALL THOSE MOMENTS IN THE LIFE OF MY DAUGHTER. HOWEVER, I ENDED UP DELETING ALL MY MEMORABILIA I HAD STORED IN ANOTHER SD CARD. ONE OR MORE OF THE FEATURES JUST DOESN'T WORK. THE STORE OR SAVE FEATURE LET YOU SAVE YOUR PICTURES AND PROTEC THEM. HOWEVER, IF YOU PRESS DELETE ALL PICTURES BUTTOM, IT WILL DELETE ALL YOUR PICTURES AND ACTUALLY OVERWRITE THE PREVIOUS COMMAND. THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I LOST ALL MY PICTURES. SAD
THEREFORE I WONT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. YOU'LL NOT ONLY LOSE YOUR MONEY, YOU'LL LOSE YOUR PICTURES, YOUR PATIENCE.
Cons: Missing features/settings, Poor image quality, Poor Low-Light Performance, Heavy/Bulky, Short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The quality of photos of this camera is great. quality of the camera overall is good, only con is that the Zoom lense when it opens and closes it makes a somewhat scratching type of noise that is to my disliking. but other then that it is an excellent camera.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable
Cons: zoom makes wierd noise
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice pocket camera

I bought this camera to use on a trip abroad, for those times I did not want to carry my DSLR. This camera is small and fits easily in my pocket. As long as there is good light this camera produces nice clean images. I primarily used the AUTO setting and most of my pictures were well exposed. I did find a camera this small is more difficult to hold steady but the IS works well to compensate. I would recommend this camera to anyone that understands its limitations and wants a camera they can carry easily in their pocket.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life

Purchased this for my wife for a trip. Great people pictures. It's possible to miss a shot, but not easy. I attribute that to impatience with the focusing time. Has just enough control for someone who is not into photography. Images excellent, all things considered. Battery life is very good. My only wish would be for a more durable finish, even if it would come in black. Something like my G11-now that would be perfect. All in all very satisfied.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable, pocketable
I would recommend this to a friend!

A versatile, easy to use camera that takes great pictures. Adjustable white balance, landscape mode, actually useful software! Highly recommended. Low light pictures are a bit grainy, though.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, easy to use
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance

My wife and I purchased this camera before our trip to Maui. Our previous digital camera was also a Canon which we had been very pleased with, so we wanted to stay with this brand. So far, this purchase has been one of excellent value. The camera is very simple to use and the photo quality is great, particularly on close-up shots. It has a setting for all types of environments which helps get the best image possible. It seems a little flimsy, but this could be because of its small size. We definitely recommend this product!
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Flimsy Construction

I have owned several digital cameras. including one good superzoom. I needed a more portalble snapshot camera. Optical viewfinder was a must. Too many situations where lcd washes out. Picture quality excellent. Not having HD video no big deal to me. If it's durable, a perfect little camera. Also priced right.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!
