This is a great little camera for the price. Gives me good pictures without paying for the expensive "better" cameras. I use it all the time. I stick it in my purse and is available whenever I need to capture something. Doesn't require the time to get on the right scope, or other stuff high priced cameras require. Love it.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Excellent Camera

Extremely satisfied with this camera. Lightweight, compact, but takes vivid photos. Especially like the fact it senses camera "shake" - no more blurry photos.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Bought it as a replacement for original P&S Canon. Couldn't ask for a better replacement! Clear as a bell, fast, easy download to a Mac (thanks), quality pictures--including birds on feeders through glass. Good accurate colors. Got it especially because it has a viewfinder which is so useful outside in the bright sun. Long life on battery after first charge. Charger usable in Europe/UK--hooray. Also has PAL setting for video. Came with 2GB card. Good size for starting off. Used it straight out of the box. Thanks for another great product.

Great Christmas Gift

I got this camera as a christmas gift this year so I could take pictures of my 6 month old. I have the pink canon powershot sd 1200 IS and I absolutely love it!! The picture quality is almost perfectly clear. The only thing I wish was different, was a zoom that you could tell where the different zoom levels weren't so continuous and you could better choose your zoom.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use, color's awesome!!!!
Cons: Short battery life, Complicated controls/menu

Recived this camera as a birthday gift. Have used it for four months under many different conditions. Have found it easy to use and very pleased with the pictures. Once you get used to the size of the camera, smaller than my last one, it is easy to use. Suggest that you read the directions, it makes the operation much easier.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings, wish it had internal memory.

Best Camera!

I got this camera for Christmas, and I have to admit that I am VERY happy with it. For the small compact size, it takes wonderful pictures! I love the exuberant colors it comes in, the quality of the pictures, (I recommend using program mode, because the other reviews were correct, using auto mode does turn out a bit blurry) and the modern style that's perfect for on the go. NICE JOB CANON! :)

Excellent Camera

I purchased the camera because of the size. It was easy and is easy to use and carry. I took it to Curacao, Aruba, Panama and Costa Rica. The pictures came out great. I have another larger camera, but it's rather bulky. This one did the trick, and I carried it in my pocket. It never let me down and was ready to use. I take it everywhere now....I will be taking it to New York and Las Vegas in a week or so. Why wasn't this camera around in the 1990's? I got a 16 GB memory card and it takes video as well. One problem...It takes videos in AVI format. It's too big to email, so I had to get a converter from AVI to Mpeg. Otherwise....Wonderful purchase. Thank you Canon.

This camera is amazing. takes perfect pictures and the color of cameras are good for teens. love mine, blue, really good. just all around, amazing camera.
