Great camera for all of us!

This camera is very easy to use. It takes great pics and they are sharp. The various functions are easy to get to and use. I would recommend this camera to anyone who has a hard time trying to figure out all of the extras on the camera. And, of course, being able to see subjects through the eye view instead of the LCD is a big plus.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable

everything we need in one tiny package

We bought this camara just before Thanksgiving and made our family holiday photos' with it. Our family could not believe the great pictures we shot with this camara. The simple controls were especially nice. The image quality was even better than we expected. We will probably leave our SLR camara on the shelf and use this camara for most all our needs. It's light weight and small size is such a plus. This is our first digital camara-no guessing if you got the shot or waiting for film to be developed. The biggest plus for us was printing with our Canon printer doesn't even require connecting to our computer.

Great quality / great battery life

Very good camera. Have been using for 3-4 months. Thousands of photos taken and only charged battery a couple of times.

Love this Elph!

I own a number of Canon cameras. I travel a lot and hate to lug large cameras around when flying. This little Elph is so compact it fits into a side pocket of my purse. I take a lot of pictures to use for reference for my professional artwork and have been very happy with the quality of the photos. I also like the ease of transfering them to the computer.

Love it, Love it, Love it

I love my Canon Power Shot 1200si. This camera takes great pictures of anything that is moving. The pictures are crisp. The only thing I don't like is the fact that you have to take the battery out and put it into the charger to charge it. I wish it just had a power cord to plug into the camera to recharge the battery.

Dont Take To Concerts

Its a good camera for my first im not gonna lie, but i just cant take it to concerts and expect a good video to take home because the bass totally kills the mic and you cant hear anything clearly unless the bass is gone. i mean its good on taking pictures just not from far away. awesome camera i just wished i could of gotten one with a better sound performance.
Pros: image quality, easy to use
Cons: bad sound preformance, bad low light preformance

Where's the Color Accent?

It's an adorable camera, with great pictures as a result, however, I can't help but wonder why Canon would drop Color Accent and Color Swap. Yes, these are not on this new version.
Pros: easy to use, excellent image quality, durable
Cons: Missing features/settings, lack of color accent and color swap
