What Happened to time Lapse?

When I first got this camera I was excited and was very pleased with it. I love the quality for both pictures and video. I love the macro photos it can take. One thing that made me very disappointed in it though is there is no time lapse feature. When I was buying my camera I wanted the best. So I spent a little more money instead of getting a cheaper and older model. My sister has an older canon powershot and hers has time lapse. I got really mad that when spending more money, I got less features. The rest of the camera I like. I love how slim and small it is. Overall it is a pretty good camera, but when you want to take a certain kind of photo, or a certain kind of video and the camera doesn't have that feature, it really ruins your day.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent...Very Pleased

Bought this camera a year ago for vacation, and I wanted to share my review, in short, I love it. Picture quality is excellent. It's compact and easy to use (I am no technological wizard). And, it is very forgiving. I dropped this into the sand and the shutter was jammed for a bit, sand and all. But, with a little TLC, the sand cleared, the lense stayed pristine, and all was well. Easy to recharge battery, easy to transfer pictures, all in all - could not ask for more.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is one of the best small cameras I have ever used. not only is is small and very portable, but it takes amazing shots anywhere anytime. Outdoor shots are the best, but compared to some of the other cameras at this price range the indoor and night time shots are amazing. The view finder is small, but comes in handy in a pinch when its running low on battery. Over all if you dont want to spend a great deal of money, but want the biggest band for your buck, buy this camera. The only drawback that I could find would be the lack of features, including panorama shot and single color shots. But those can be done on the computer.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable
Cons: Missing features/settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved my SD850 IS but it broke! This was supposed replace that, but now I'm shopping around for another camera to replace this one! Initially, I was sold by the slim design (because I use it a lot and wanted to keep it handy) and Canon's usual neat features (color accent, photostitch, etc.) but I'm really not happy with the picture quality and it takes waaaay too long to take pictures. On numerous occasions, I've missed opportunities to take some really great shots. In addition, the flash is too bright and sometimes distorts my pictures. Also, I feel like I'm constantly charging the battery!!!
Cons: Poor image quality, Poor Low-Light Performance, Short battery life, Flimsy Construction, super slow shooting speed, i don't like that .mov is the only recording mode, flash is too bright

I used the PS 780 on my vacation in Ireland every day for 7 days without any issues. I took over 150 pictures and reviewed each day many times. The battery lasted the whole week without recharging.
It is compact with a good feel to it and takes good quality pictures. It is a great camera to carry anywhere just like a cell phone. Don't leave home without it!
Pros: easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance
I would recommend this to a friend!
