Use CHDK to unlock FULL Potential

This Camera is awesome, I have taken 5,000 + pictures in the last few months. Quality is great, i also love the small compact size. I use CHDK "Canon Hack Development Kit" a program that more or less lets this camera behave like a SLR. A usable version is finally available, and with a small script I'm getting great looking HDR images.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

This powershot is easy and fun to use. I love taking pictures with it and it has great camera settings and cool little things like face detection. It also takes high quality videos, which is always fun :]
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable
Cons: Short battery life

Great quality for its size category

For a pocket digital this camera is very good. I shoot 35mm film, 35mm digital, 6x7 film as an Amateur B&W Art Photographer primarily as well as color. I carry this with me all the time to take snapshots of family or places on the fly. I bought mine after I had already bought one for my wife as it worked very well; so now there are two (black and red) in the family. Consumer reports and others rated this very well and I'd have to agree. It's not a miracle camera and neither is anyone else's so as long as you have reasonable expectations as we did, this camera will probably keep you very happy.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, fun size
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance

Great Compact Camera

The main reason for purchasing this compact camera was the viewfinder. This is a second camera; I use a digital SLR. What a surprise the SD780 takes excellent pictures and is loaded with features. (I wish Canon would keep the SD780 in production.)
Pros: lightweight, easy to use, viewfinder, nice telephoto

bought this camera and i absolutely fell in love with it. the pictures it takes are crystal clear and you can really see the quality. canon was recommended to me and i am so glad i went along with it!! definitely give this camera 10+ stars

Super little camera plus video

Have had this camera for two months and love it. I wanted a small camera that also had a video. I was amazed at how good the video turned out! Great camera in a small package!

Pretty Darn Good

This is my second Canon, and the reason I went back to Canon is the great picture that these cameras take. The HD Video is a bonus. The matte black is also very unique, since most cameras are the standard stainless steel or faux. The camera fits right in a pocket and is easy to use. Basically, idiot proof. The only problem is the same I had with my last camera, the pictures take quite some time to take and the low light is much better but leaves a little to be desired. However, for the price and size this is a potent little camera. It is not to be underestimated.

Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance, slow to take picture
