Expensive DVD Player

It will generally play DVDs however, I have NEVER been able to get it to play Bluray, which is the primary reason for purchase. Big Mistake. Do NOT Recommend this product. Greatly disappointed in LG. I had expected so much more

Didn't work for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I unfortunately needed to return this product since I was unable to get it to work properly with my iMac. The disc wouldn't even eject properly (fortunately there was an "emergency" eject button with the help of a pointy object.). Disappointed that it didn't meet my expectations.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't get it to work. Tried to load the software and a message came up saying that it was for LG products only! Should have looked around at other burners before purchasing it. I have heard good things about LG from friends and reviews but this experience kind of sours me on LG.

Put a Blu-Ray in and 9 out of 10 times would only show operational files, couldn't play the video. The drive/software was up to date according to LG but still no luck. Just now the USB plug on the back broke. No fix for me out of the 1yr warranty.

I was surprised and concerned when I realized that my brand new computer/tablet didn't have a DVD drive...but I researched and purchased my drive and it has worked beautifully! Easy to install and easy to use....can't ask for more.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

This is the worst product out there. I've wasted so many Blu-ray discs. I've only been able to burn one BD and that audio wasn't in sync with the video. Now my computer won't even recognized it. This drive is garbage.

Burning Blue Ray Disc

I have had this over a year and it works just fine. I don't use this to play my blue ray disc. Never had a problem with the burning discs.
