[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was only used a couple of times and simply will not work after a recent Windows update. I have spent some time trying to sort it out, but the help pages are no use. The firmware download will not open. There should be a complete guide to updating the drivers and firmware. I will not be buying another LG drive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this player several months ago. Played one dvd and it worked fine.. Several months later tried to play another movie but it would not play. Now my wife is telling me she wanted to play a movie on her laptop and she asked me about a disk to install this player in her laptop... I told her there was no disk with the package. We have the box and paper work but there was on disk... Is it possible to get this disk. Why the fist movie played I don't know... But it played through just fine and I would recommend it if I can get this problem solved...

Bought this to play DVDs and Blu-ray on Win10. Instructions not very clear. 1st DVD I ever tried stopped at 1hour 29 minutes and would not go further. A waste of the time it took to figure out the download process and then not being able to watch the end of the DVD.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
