It works as advertised, just attach your Garmin to the mount and just sit it any where on your car dasboard and it will stay in place. Very easy to use, and much better than perminately sticking the round plasic disk that comes with the Garmin in the box.

It works better than the window mount which would come loose inadvertently and damaged my previous unit. This one will move if not positioned perfectly and flew across the dash once, so take care to make sure it sits well so that it doesn't rock in place.

I have the mount... or something like that. I don't like sticking my GPS on my window, if you have dash space, then this mount is for you. You can place it where you need it and it has full mobility. If the base loses it's tackiness, just wash it off and you are good to go again.
