I am a traditional surround sound person, but with this house that isn't easily possible. I already had Sonos 1 speakers, so I decided to go with the Sonos Soundbar direction. This sounds wonderful. I added Sonos 1's for the rear channel, I wish I could pump them up a bit, but over all this is a really good solution. I love the remote control and sync of all my speakers.

Call me old school, but I prefer a portable GPS over an in-dash model. In-dash you are limited to changes made while driving and voice command is always frustrating...Back to this Garmin GPS. A wonderful upgrade to my 15 year old Garmin. Super fast response times, locates satellites quickly. Love the front view camera. First week of using it, it captured an accident that happened in front of me.
I have not used this on a long road-trip yet, but am really looking forward to having this along for the ride.

I am just wanting to steam movies from my Laptop to my TV (Basically mirror my laptop). Is this going to work? How bad is the lag?
It will work for this. It takes any HDMI signal and sends it to the receiver. If you have your laptop on your lap and watching TV you are going to see a slight lag. If you can hear both signals, you will hear the lag, but if one is in one room and the other elsewhere, you shouldn't notice the lag. I have it on a cable box in one room and a TV outside. The lag isn't an issue for me.

Are you able to run the dash cam and gps at the same time. I have a unit by another brand that has the same features but you have to choose which one to use GPS or Dash Camera.

This is a microSD card, so you probably need a SD card adapter, but yes it should work with your laptop.
