this seems to be a pretty durable mount.i installed a 51" flatscreen to a brick wall. plenty of hardware included. the installation instructions are USELESS!!. if you buy this product throw them away immediately and just figure it out yourself.
Pros: Durable
Cons: limited access to back of tv

One of the best flat mount brackets around.

I needed a good flat mount tv bracket to hang a 56” curved Sony Bravia tv including soundbar. This was ideal.
Fixing was easy, although I had to buy longer wall anchor bolts as the depth required to fix into the brickwork was deeper than supplied.
One criticism is the lack more than one length of 6mm tv screws, however these were ok once I cut them down.
The real bonus for me is that the horizontal angle of the tv can be adjusted to compensate for any misalignment of drilling the bracket fixings

I did a lot of research looking for a tv so I wanted the best mount for it. Sanus name kept popping up so I bought one. Geek Squad installed this mount so take it for what it's worth. I have personally used them for other technical help, e.g., computers, and have been very satisfied but this was the first for a tv install. Anyway the installers had to cut the spacers in half because he said the screws that came in the box weren't long enough to go thru a spacer and I into the tv. Another disappointing feature are the release cords that unhook the tv from the mount. They just dangle from the back of the tv well below the bottom of tv. Funny how none of the pictures show that. For the money, I thought it would be more. Lastly, trying to register the product, it calls for a lot number. No idea what that is.
Pros: it's ok, looks pretty sturdy, a few nice features
Cons: Expensive, not sure if it's worth the price., the release cords just dangle, spacers and screws don't fit
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's nice that you can put your TV in and it will tell you if it fits on the mount. How about having the mount list the TV's it's compatible with. I've spent way too much time trying to input various TV's for the mount already installed on our wall......I feel like I'm searching for a needle in a haystack......and it's worn me out so much I don't much feel like watching TV any more.......thanks SANUS!

I like the mount. if you have the tools, it will only take 30 minutes to install. Very easy to install for me but not for others.

Simple and Easy

This product is simple and very easy to install. I used it for my 52inch Samsung LCD TV. I used this to install my TV on the wall of my Entertainment center.
Although I had to drill additional holes in my entertainment center it was easy enough to install.
It seems as though installing this on the wall would also be safe and easy.
One con is that there are 2 screws which hold the wall plate to the TV brackets and I wasnt quite sure it was strong enough but it worked. That locking mechanism could be a bit better but you can simply purchase the newer model.
For the decent price, this was definitely worth it.

This mount was easy to install. The mount was used to install a Sony 40" LCD TV to be used as a monitor that supports a datacenter full of servers. It mounted easily to a 2x4 constructed wall and later moved to a cinderblock wall. All mounting hardware was included. We never had to purchase a single thing in order to install it. We bought two 52" LCD TVs to support our Conference Room. Purchasing bought Peerless brand mounts. We installed them. They are vastly inferior to Sanus products. We uninstalled the mounts and have ordered Sanus mounts again. Purchasing has agreed to follow our reccommendations this time.
Pros: Close to Wall, Easy to Use, Durable, no extra parts needed
