i just got my prestige edition. night vision goggles and game both are great!
It has most of the latest equipment used in Modern Wars, great weapons, more fun in split screen mode and in multiplayer. difficulty is very good, even in normal mode it is little harder than normal.
What's great about it: Nothing artificial, everything is extremely close to reality!
What's not so great: nothing special to mention!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game blew me away! The graphics are fantastic and the attention to detail is unmatched. The storyline is supurb, and is full of twists and turns! Unforntunatly the campain mode is really short. For a game of this level it should be twice as along as it is! On the other hand the multiplayer will pick up the slack, most definitly. Never the less this game delivers and IS worth the money.
What's great about it: Graphics! Storyline!
What's not so great: About 6 hrs of campain gameplay, which is really short.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I enjoyed playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 but, when I play it I don't feel that same experience from COD4.Yeah number 2 has better graphics but I just feel the gameplay doesn't beat COD4's.My little brother got COD MW reflex and I feel that gameplay is better the Modern Warfare 2.For some reason I play my little brother's COD MW reflex online more than Modern Warfare 2.I feel Reflex has a better controll experience.The only thing I enjoy about Modern Warfare 2 is the new weapons, sound effects, and graphics.Gameplay online beats the story mode but I felt kind of disappointing.
What's great about it: The graphics, gameplay, multiplayer are all awesome as you know
What's not so great: short story mode, some glitches, and kiind of not original like
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the game is good the story line is good the only thing i dont like you cant be in a party chat while u play team deathmatch or headquarters wish they hadnt done that but besides that awsome game

What's not so great: cant be in party chat

If you own an xbox 360 this game is a** MUST HAVE** However if you do not play online you are prob not going to want to buy this....The online multiplayer is what really makes this game great

This is one of the best games that I have played. I particularly like the special ops mode when you can tag with a friend and play all these different type of missions in different environments. This game is challenging for sure, specially when playing in veteran. The story mode is about 5-6 hours long but you will be enjoying special ops and online play for hrs. Its definitely worth the $60 bucks.
What's great about it: Story, graphics, challenging
What's not so great: No co-op in story mode
I would recommend this to a friend!

2009 Game of the Year

I just finished the campaign mode last night. While the story line was good, it was way too short. As a matter of fact, I think it's shorter than CoD4 MW. The graphics were, once again, top notched. The controls are familiar. When you play any of the CoD series you pretty much played them all as far as the controls are concerned. Which is good!!!
I wished that you and 3 other friends are able to play the Spec Ops mode. That would have been more fun. But only 2 people are able to play.
The campaign mode picks up 5 years after the events of CoD 4. There are new characters as well as a couple of returning heroes ones from CoD 4. Soap Mactavish and Captain Price. Soap is now a Captain and sporting a mohawk. As stated in other reviews regarding the "No Russians" mission, yes it is disturbing. You kill the innocent civillians in the airport. However, Infinity Ward does give you the option to skip the mission at the beginning of the game.
There is a twist at the end. No, not everyone died. But it is a safe bet that there'll be MW3. I don't see this franchise going anywhere anytime soon.
No comment regarding the on-line play because I've been concentrating on the campaign mode. But I will be playing it on-line this weekend.
What's great about it: Spec Ops
What's not so great: Spec Ops...only 2 people are able to play
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this game the first day it came, couldnt wait to play it, it had great graphics and better weapons then the first modern warefare!!
What's great about it: graphics, weapons
What's not so great: short campain
