You really can't get the full gaming experience without Xbox Live. Although the price may lure you away from this product, you'll really get more than what you paid for. Online gaming brings a whole new element. Over time you'll realize that you didn't waste your money buying this.
What's great about it: Online Gaming
What's not so great: Nothing

Its a great alternative for those who lack a credit or debit card to be a Xbox Live gold member. Its like $3.33 a month and worth it. Gold offer more features than silver. I mean silver is good, but a lack of online multiplayer is a problem. Gold offer the best of Xbox Live.
What's great about it: Easy to use. One year of a great online service.
What's not so great: 25 digit code.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To everyone who says that the Wii and PS3 are better because they are free, you have a point, but with XBOX you get what you pay for. I have tried both Wii and PS3. You cant even use voice to talk on Wii, and on PS3 everyone sounds like they are about to commit suicide.
What's great about it: The best value of all of the cards.

I hate putting my credit card number in these kinds of online memberships for my kids because you never know when they will click to buy something else o renew and spend your money. A one-year pre-paid card is the best way to go. Easy to set up and use.
What's great about it: It's a secure way to pay for membership.
