The only reason I bought the Gold membership is to use for Netflix streaming, I don't really play to much online matches. Now that I have purchased a Netflix streaming TV, I may not renew it next year unless they drop the price for a 1 year card. Otherwise as far as the MS network cabability, I had a few drops during game play when I do play online which is annoying when you are playing a sports game. Where as when I use my Wii to play online, I have not have any drops during game play which even if it did, I wouldn't mind it since it's Free but then you can't watch movies off Wii.
What's great about it: Easy to add to your LIVE Account
What's not so great: Other than another MS money maker
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Best Value For the Money

The only downfall of this card is that you can use the internet and play online with your friends for free via a PS3 and the Nintendo Wii. Do your math and stop buying the single month or 3 month memberships. Save your pennies.
1 year = $49.99 / 365 days = $0.14 / DAY
3 months = $19.99 / 180 days = $0.22 / DAY
1 month = $7.99 / 30 days = $0.26 / DAY
Obviously the value is clear. Impatience wastes money.
What's great about it: This card is a better value than its counterparts.
What's not so great: Internet Play on PS3 and Wii is free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

well i like my xbox live it's well worth it.
here's new prices after nov1 it's going be 60$ for 12month gold.
Just google it online and you should go see it off major nelson web site.

What's great about it: It had everything,from netflix,faceboook,twitter,,last.fm,free downloads on demo games.Online gaming,voice chat
What's not so great: Too many crazy noobs like on cod mmw2 12years olds like trash talk alot at older gamers and college kids.

I hate that you have to pay for an xbox live subscription. I also hate that if you use your gift card a best buy and take something back, the MAIL you another gift card which can take weeks. Oh well...
What's great about it: can play games online
What's not so great: Have to pay to play online

PS3 online is free > Xbox live 50 would rather have the cost go down because Ps3 is free but xbox has better games.
What's great about it: Allows online gameplay
What's not so great: PS3 online is free might think about getting a PS3 if price does not go down within the next year.

as the title says. its an xbox live card. ya get what ya pay for. bought this so my son could play a specific game. i prefer the steam platform myself. that use the internet and you arent having to pay a fee. i find consoles have become just big old money sponges. it sickens me. pc gaming for life! ;)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
