Great Remot

I bought this remote to replace 5 remotes at my entertainment center. I use a Samsung plasma, Sony 400 disc DVD player, Samsung BluRay, Insignia A/V receiver, and Dish Network DVR satellite receiver. Setup was pretty simple but I had to tweak it a little. After a couple of tweaks, everything works great. While setting it up, it did not let me me set up a BluRay player. I had to set it up as a DVD2. It still works good but I think Logitech should fix this and make BluRay a specific device. I also like that you can customize buttons and make it work to your liking. I would highly recommend this remote.
What's great about it: Works great and controls all my devices
What's not so great: If you have DVD and BluRay it can be a pain
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good remote but does not keep on tv or reciever when switching from BD/DVD to TV, kind of annoying.
What's great about it: good price, replaces a plethora of remotes
What's not so great: not easy as I tought to setup, turns off items when not supposed too
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is by far the best universal remote i have ever used. it is awesome!!!
What's great about it: everything, plus no more complicated programming, no more searching for batteries
What's not so great: when the power buttons get out of sync

I picked up this Universal Remote tonight and I couldn't wait to review it. I purchased this remote and a Yamaha Home Theater System to go along with my Panasonic Plasma, Samsung Blu Ray Player and XBox 360 I already own. I thought a UR would be a great idea considering everything is hooked to my receiver and I needed 4 remotes to control everything. There was an open item on this and I picked it up for cheap. I came home and set up my theater system and made sure everything was working. Then I took the remote out and checked the quick start guides. I heard that it might take hours to set everything up. I plugged it in, downloaded the software and was off and running in less than 10 minutes. It was so easy to set up, just plug in the model numbers and the software does the rest. After I was done I checked every single possible situation I would come across thinking I'd still have to keep my other remotes around, but everything worked as it should be. I was able to control every aspect of all my devices with this remote. I promise you won't be disappointed. The only thing I can say is that I wish I bought this sooner! GO BUY IT!
What's great about it: Easy to set up, works great, love it
What's not so great: Some text is small and hard to read on the remote
I would recommend this to a friend!

Surprised that this works as well as it does. Easy to program on-line and the HELP button on the remote is useful for minor programming mistakes. It takes some initial effort, but pressing a single button to have several devices turn on is very nice. I have recommended this to several people.

Very Easy To Set Up

Very easy to set up, you DO NOT have to be a techie. I bought two of these models, set them both up (upstairs and downstairs) with very little effort, less than an hour each. I have TV, combo VCR/DVD, and Cable box. A little tricky at first to find all your "special" features, like the Favorite Channel and such, but a little "exploring" with the controls and I was alright.
What's great about it: USB and website to find the component info
What's not so great: component specific features require 1-2-3 button pushes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellenct Device

This product is great. I had a harmony 100 which got mauled by my puppies and replaced it with this model. This thing programmed itself effortlessly and was ready to roll in less that 1/2 hour and I'm horrible with technology. The unit is easy to use and does everrything I want it to do very intuitively. The unit is a bit pricier than I would like, but it really does the trick. If I had enough money and time I would program everything electric in my house. Get One and Get Rid Of the Remote Clutter and the Need for Four Hands!!!!.

What's not so great: Price

What a breeze to set up and even to change the setup because I purchased a new DVD player.....
My only criticizm is that it does not handle the Dish DVR functions very well....
But everything else is logical and works great - Dish Satellite - TV - DVD - CD player - Tuner - and even the WII (but I have to manually turn it on since it is bluetooth)...
I would buy another one in a heartbeat...

What's not so great: Dish DVR functions
