Great Speakers, Excellent Quality

This 2.1 system is amazing! It gives out great sound for a good price. The only really downside to these speakers are that they are kind of bulky and big and the on/off switch which is located on the subwoofer. I leave mine on the floor so it's a pain to reach to is a lot, so I normally just leave it on all the time. When I bought them, the Best Buy sales rep. warned my Mom about how loud they are, and I can tell you that they are LOUD. They come with a headphone jack so you can plug them right into your computer which is great, easy, and simple to use. I've even plugged them into my TV and it brings the sound quality up much better than the speakers on our Samsung 46" LCD TV. They may be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Buy these speakers if you want great sound hitting your ears.
What's great about it: Easy to use/set up, Amazing sound, Looks nice
What's not so great: On/Off Switch on Subwoofer, Kind of big, A bit pricey

Almost Perfect

As other reviews have stated, this is a great system to complement a computer set-up. The bass is strong and tight for the size and the sound is deceptively loud given how compact the system is. However, the mid and high frequency range were some-what disappointing given the famous Klipsch horn configuration (in this case, Micro-Tractrix). The treble from the poly tweeter just doesn't have that wide dispersion that Klipsch is known for. Hence, the sound-stage is not as deep or enveloping particularly when it comes to movies. As many have stated, the power-on switch on the back of the sub-woofer (assuming most folks keep the sub-woofer on the floor) is rather inconvenient.
Good, strong, decently, full-quality sound but not quite "audiophile" as hoped for but then again, I'm benchmarking against my Infinity and JBL Studio Monitors (from that perspective, maybe not a fair comparison for a computer system).
What's great about it: Price, Compact, Strong Bass, Lengthy Wire
What's not so great: Mid and High-End, No Treble Control, Power on Back of Sub-Woofer
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Klipsch 2.1 system hands down is the Best sudio system I have come accoss. I was a bit leary about spending $250 for a set of 2.1 speakers. After doing my homework and research I decided to give these a try and WOW!!!!
The bass response is totaly awesome and the highs are clear and crisp. Pleny of mids to suit my needs.
I have had everything Logitech puts out to date and the Klipsch 2.1 beats them Hands Down!!!!
These are a must have for any pc or laptop setup!
What's great about it: Awesome sound reproduction, Small footprint.
What's not so great: NOTHING
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great speakers music sounds wonderful lows are deep without any flubbing just don't turn the bass up to high

Great system for your computer with very good sound on all speakers. Worth the value investment. The location part of the power switch for the system on the back of the heavy amp is hard to get to the back to turn system on and off and tend to forget to turn off the amp. Switch should be on front of Amp/speaker.
What's great about it: value for the money
What's not so great: On and off switch is on back of amp.

I use these fro my main speakers for my HTPC they put out so much sound, I only have them turned up half way to keep from over powering my satellites and center. I have the sub turned down as low as it will go and it still vibrates my apartment, I don't need a separate powered sub for my surround. I am impressed with the music quality and volume you get for this price. These Rock!!!
