Lots of Bass

Okay--It's about the bass. I love deep my bass, but I love my bass in proper proportion. At the lowest setting, the sub was still too loud for my taste. A washcloth, stuffed in the port, reduced the level of bass to a point that I felt was balanced. I'll keep these speakers because the price is great, they look fantastic, and they're Klipsch.

What's not so great: Bass is not adjustable to low enough level for me

I like this system a lot. It was easy to hook up and provides really good sound. Excellent bass, very good treble. A teeny bit lacking in the mid-range but still very good. I am sort of amazed how cheap it was (I think we paid $159 on sale) for the quality.

With Klipschorns as my main speakers at home I am no stranger to quality audiophile sound. Klipsch does not disappoint with this compact system that I use for hours on end at my computer desk. The sound is crisp, clear, clean and airy and the remarkable subwoofer reaches down to <40 hz. with convincing real authority. The system plays loudly and cleanly enough to fill a medium room. At the $140.00 I paid it is a bargainissimo. It has dual controls allowing you to adjust main volume and subwoofer volume independently, an excellent feature. The only drawback is that it lacks an on-off power switch, an inexplicable omission although it draws nil power when no signal is present.

I bought it at a higher price, but after called bestbuy, they refunded me the difference, very nice!
The sound is better than any of my previous speakers. The subwoofer is well made and the bass is great. high pitch sound is also very clear and sweet.
My only concern is the durability.
What's great about it: Sound
What's not so great: No switch-off button,Cables are a little bit flimsy
I would recommend this to a friend!
