This is my second pair of speakers - very impressed with it. Very good sound quality and excellent bass for a computer speakers.

Best bang for your buck

Had this system for almost two months now. Got it to replace an aging system (also 2.1 system). I was surprised at how much smaller the whole set up was from my previous one. Immediately thinking the sound wouldn't be as good, I plugged it in and began some tests. Let me just say, the all star reviews for this product all over the internet did not come without warrant. Excellent product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent value in computer speakers

Pros:
Excellent sound quality for the price.
Easy setup.
Dual inputs.
Cons:
No power (on/off) switch (not very "green").
Rubber feet fall off metal bottom stands (poor adhesive?).
Lack of RCA phono jacks (or equivalent) on back of sub-woofer for connecting speaker wires (instead this unit uses spring loaded pinching connectors on bare speaker wires). I expected something better and more resilient.
What's great about it: Good value for quality sound
What's not so great: No power switch (so always on)
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was debating between two sets of speakers it was these or the logitech z623 and im so glad i went with these. The sound that these little speakers put out are loud and clear! Also i was reading some of the other reviews and i dont get what you guys mean about no off and on swtich. On the bottom half of the sub there is a off and on switch that shuts off the speakers and sub, But then again i might be miss understanding. Also i like the fact that you can have two devices connected to them, so i have the main green aux plug going into my PC and then i have another AUX going from my TV to the satellite speaker AUX plug in. GREAT PRODUCT.
What's great about it: Bass, Loudness, Size
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can vouch for the sound quality of this speaker set. I got mine less then a week ago. Tried it on my laptop, iPhone, and TV and it sounds incredible!.
I really like the generous cable length, which is quite long, so you can put it up on shelves or wall mount them. I also appreciate that the speakers are not hardwired to the subwoofer (like some other models) and so it is easy to move the speakers around or lead the cables through small holes.
Just like some other users though, I am missing an on/off switch for some reason.
All in all, great sound quality. We shall see how long they will last...

What's not so great: no on/off switch

The product arrived well packaged. The set-up was straight forward and simple. I really like the sound. There is more volume and bass than any sane person needs. I've never had to turn it up more than half way, and I like my music loud on occasion! These are my speakers for my Toshiba LED tv and laptop, as well as my Sony shelf stereo. No problems with connecting everything. The matte black finish is great, too. It goes well with anything and doesn't look cheap like some products with very glossy finishes.
What's great about it: I don't think you could do better for the price.
What's not so great: The mid-range lacks a little presence-really my only gripe
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this set of speakers for a family member I was visiting and could not wait for shipment of my first option. I asked to listen to the speakers but they were not setup properly in the store so I purchased them blindly. What a surprise! Bose has a run for the money for sure. These speakers are the best I have heard and I own a Bose companion set at home. Setup was simple and they sound phenomenal. The entire family enjoyed the experience. The Best Buy tech was correct when he said that everyone loves the speakers and that they are as close to surround sound as you can get. Unbelievable!
We played many shorts but the kids liked the dinasaures the best because it was actually scary to listen to (and yes, the glass of water actually trembled like in Jarisic Park movie). These speakers are definite keepers.
What's great about it: quality product, sound
What's not so great: no on/off button
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great speakers, they have plenty of power, I can only turn them up about %25 without blowing my ear drums out. They have a nice clean crisp sound and plenty of bass for anyone. You can tell they are well built and I'm pretty confident they will last for quite a while. Really like the headphone jack on the side of the speaker. A little more than I wanted to spend for computer speakers, but I think they're worth it.
What's great about it: Powerful, Clear, Crisp
What's not so great: The Price
I would recommend this to a friend!
