I love these speakers I have owned for almost a year now.. no blown tweeters.. still rich deep bass.. I would purchase again if needed

I did a lot of research before buying new speakers for my PC. I was replacing a 5 year old set of Creative speakers that sounded weak. I would have to turn them all of the way up just to hear the music. These were top rated on several websites, and now I see, well hear, why. They sound better than my panosonic home theatre system. I chose these because of their ratings on the internet and the price. For the quality of sound I am hearing, they were well worth the money. Excellent clarity, good range of sound, nice bass and tremble. They have an aux port on the side as well as a headphone jack. They sound amazing!
What's great about it: Sound, ease of set up, Price
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the first generation of Klipsch Pro Audio speakers when they were introduced about 12 years ago. They were amazing speakers and blew me away back then and I never stopped loving them. Many computers came and went, but the speakers were rock solid for over a decade. I finally decided to replace them and after shopping around and listening to every set of speakers in this price range, I decided that these were the clear choice to buy again. I hooked them up about a month ago and they sound great. They are also much cheaper than they were 12 years ago! At this price, there is no reason to look at cheap speakers. The Klipsch is a tremendous value. Just buy them!
What's great about it: Perfect, crisp and deep sound, even at VERY high volume.
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very serious about my sound and this system delivers. The overall sound package is very expansive and accurate, even given the tiled room and not so ideal placement at the moment. I hear all of the details I can hear with good headphones and a pretty close to spot on frequency response with super clean volume- the kind of clean where I don't realize how loud it is until I step out of the room for something. As for pretty close to spot on frequency response, I'm extremely picky about sound and right out of the box, running any source flat with zero EQ, (which I wholeheartedly recommend first) I have been completely content and wowed.
And the low end is just killer. Thick, full, yet tight, and I have yet to even have it beyond 8 to 9 o'clock, never mind the 10 o'clock sweet spot they have marked. I do have the sub on the floor and against the wall, as it should be, and almost directly below the satellites. Having the sub in a corner to get the most of the low end response is not even necessary. The lows are that deep. No artificial low end boost needed via EQ at all. They're most certainly not hollow and just boomy- very clean and enjoyable bass TONES, not just thump and bump. If you have thin walls, prepare to be nagged!!
The actual volume is hard to predict as with my roomates I have not had the need, or the ability, to have it past 10 o'clock thus far. The couple times it was even that far, the whole house could clearly hear what I had playing.
As for music, which is all I've done with them so far, I listen to everything from old Van Halen, to Kieko Matsui, to Bjork, to Pantera, and everything flys perfectly.. For THE MONEY, the only thing close I saw was Logit**c and sorry, they'll just never come close.
Hey, If I'm wrong, along with many others it seems, so you have to make a trip back to either spend way more unnecessarily, or end up with far less sound quality. Happy Listening..
What's great about it: Super full, yet tight low end + clean, balanced highs/mids and VOLUME.
What's not so great: Um, no power switch any longer.

Shockingly Good for the Price

I had been looking for a set of 2.1 "computer" speakers for a while to place in my living room. I have a bluetooth receiver and it is nice to play music off my iPhone. When I saw these, I couldn't believe what I was seeing for the price. Most other speaker sets either were only 2.0 systems or were only a measly 20 watts total (or else far outside my price range). i have a fairly large living room with very high ceilings (17 ft at highest point) and this system fills the whole place. I would not call myself an audiophile, but I really do appreciate the difference this system makes. In fact, I found the bluetooth receiver introduces a tinniness to the sound that i don't get when hooking the speakers directly to my iPhone/Computer/iPad. Couldn't even tell the difference with my previous speakers.
I'm not sure if anyone needs this much power sitting at their computer, though. For a larger room or for a party, this is a great buy.
One last thing, when I received my system, the left channel did not work at all. Best Buy customer service made it fairly simple to return the old unit to a store and immediately leave with a replacement. The replacement sounds terrific.
What's great about it: Incredible, room filling sound
What's not so great: No RCA jacks

Bought these thinking I would return for Corsair

To start off I almost picked up the Corsair 2.1 set. I thought I would try these first because they were on the floor at Best Buy. My Logitech Z-2300 started to go out after probably 4 years. Wanted to get something equivalent. It was either these or Corsair. My biggest concern was the sub woofer when I was trying to decide which set to get. The sub preforms very well.
Now getting to the two satellite speakers... They sound amazing. They make it sound as if the sound is coming directly out of my monitor which my Logitech's did not sound that way. Very impressed. This system sounds as good if not better than the Bose that they had on display.
What's great about it: Sound
What's not so great: Nothing yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Superb sound

I've had these speakers for a dozen year and 4 computer systems now and have never found anything under $250 that could remotely touch them. As long as you aren't trying to run a rock concert from a set top speaker bundle, I'm not sure what type of music wouldn;t benefit. Excellent midrange and treble clarity for vocals, pretty good bass from the separate module -- classical, jazz, vocal, country, and rock all sound great from mp3 to full CD quality.
I don't need surround from my computer so 2.0 or 2.1 is more than adequate, but none of the the typical mass market computer speakers were able to deliver anything better than a mushy mess. These Klipsch will be better than anything short of the best computer quality Swans and Audioengine level which cost 3X what these do now.
The only real audio downside is if you want to run these at 90+% volume and then they will balk. The biggest issue with this set has always been it's wiring -- it's non standard and a bit fragile. I've completely replace the control module once (approx $30) due to the thin wires breaking inside and the somewhat unstable DIN plug that runs to the subwoofer. Since it's proprietary it is going to be an issue unless you get your soldering iron out and become your own engineer.

After being less than impressed with the sound quality of my of my new pc included speakers, I went shopping for something with more kick. I am more than impressed with the sound quality. From watching movies to listening to music,this system ROCKS !
