Amazing Quality Great Entertainment Speakers

I'll keep this short and sweet. The sound quality from these Klipsch speakers is amazing. Even while watching Netflix movies they feel and sound very cinematic.
The base is very good, maybe better than the speakers.
My concern: I setup the speakers no problem following the instructions to the "T". I set the computer systems internal sound to 70% as the instructions suggested and set the speakers themselves to below 30% area on the dial. That plays well loud enough, these things can get loud!! Now I hear a bit of static after one use when watching Netflix movies. I'm not sure if I've already blown the speakers out or what. I don't see how by following the instructions for the sound settings right on I could already be hearing a bit of static? Maybe its just Netflix because in during gaming they sound fine.

These speakers sound comparable to those whose price are 4 times more. Klipsch is the oldest speaker manufacturer in this country. They have been in business since 1946! And yes , they were "digital ready" even then. <<<<Note loud gonging of sarcasm bell for the "digital ready" buzzword>>>> I own 3 sets of these. One for my shop, another for my home and a third set in storage. (I had heard rumors sometime back they were going to be liquidated) I am truly relieved to see that rumor was false. At this price, I have bought sets for some very close friends. Nothing in words can describe the awesome, effortless levels of sound these things deliver. Buy them and add your 2 cents to the reviews here.
What's great about it: The sound!!
What's not so great: they don't do dishes

The sound that comes from this computer system is awesome. The small subwoofer produces good bass for its size and the two satellite speakers can fill a large room with excellent sound. Great for anyone wanting to "rock'n'roll". Setup is straight forward. Just make sure you space the satellite speakers apart to get separation and the subwoofer is placed for optimal sound. The only drawbacks are that once this system is connected to an electrical source (110v), it stays on (not good if you're trying to save electricity). Also, the price for this system is retailed for over $100 (you're paying for the name on the label).

I have had a set of these for 5 years and just picked up a second set for another PC. The sound for Audio is great. The subwoofer provides a ton of bass. The mids and highs are clear. The power is way more than you will need and their is no noticeable distortion unless you have a poor quality audio track that is already distorted. The speakers do not seem to have any shielding issue and the quality is good. EQ requires a little balancing in the media player on my PC to bring out the highs, but I have no complaints about that. The one negative is that they sent some rubber stick on feet with the speakers that the purchaser has to put on themselves. As you peel the feet off the packing, the glue pulled off and stayed on the packing (paper?) instead of the rubber foot - so now there is no glue to stick them to the speakers. Easy enough to fix with gorilla glue, but not ideal.

These are a great pair of speakers and have great sound quality. The subwoofer appears to not have a lot of bass but surprisingly does. I purchased these over the Logitech z623 because these have tweeters. The only problem with these is that there is no On/Off switch or a remote.

The best sound you'll get out of a 3.5mm jack

I bought this set up 10 years ago based on the brand - it was my first Klipsch purchase. These speakers made me a fan! The sound that comes out of these speakers is amazing for the size and price. The mids and highs are smooth and detailed and really shine on acoustic media - you can hear the string reverberate. The BASS - it comes from a 6" driver and sounds better than some 10" home theater subs that I have unfortunately owned over time. The mid base is undistorted and hits hard enough to feel and literally vibrate the walls. The low end is there at lower volumes but is over powered by the mid bass at higher volumes. The volume that comes out of theses speakers is loud while staying clean. It is loud enough that, in a household office or bedroom, you would literally have to yell at the person next to you for them to hear you.
Unless you are planning to hook up your device to an AV receiver and full sized speakers (that’s what Air Play is for) you can't go wrong with these.
The down side -
1. I have had to replace the cable that plugs into the sub from the control module twice in the ten years that I have owned it. It is a small connector that resembles a SVHS plug. It was caused by me kicking the cable under the desk. After the second time of buying it from Klipsch I made sure it would happen again by rerouting it. Smart huh? No problems with it sense.
2. I just blew the sub, but it died valiantly. At $250 for ten years of service I considered it a bargain, now at $150...
What's great about it: The sound and now the value
What's not so great: I paid $250 ten years ago, but I get to buy a replacement for $150
I would recommend this to a friend!
