I listened to demos of various brands and models of speakers in BestBuy and other stores, before deciding to purchase this speaker set. The other speakers that I sampled not only were more expensive but also were less pleasing to my ears. I admit that I might had been biased because this speaker was THX certified. Furthermore, I looked at the technical specifications, such as number watts of output and the Total Harmonic Distortion. The technical specifications that I wanted to know about this speaker set were available, while those of other brands lacked some of the information that I was looking for.

It was a toss up between these and the Corsair speakers SP2500. I chose these because of the reviews. Very easy to set up. Cables are super long for placement. Bass is amazing. Speakers jam sound out with no hesitation. I would buy again. Great for desktop!

What's not so great: None really.

I am an avid Klipsch owner and I've owned all of their speakers starting with the Klipschorn, the largest and ending with the KG1, the smallest.
I really believe that they are the best loudspeakers and everything else is a compromise.
I was very happy when they started to make multimedia systems and this is the third system I own.
It delivers the best natural sound, a great frequency response and of course deep rich Bass.
The price is affordable and quality is superb.
I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to buy multimedia sound system.
