Worst review I can give. I was super excited to watch this digitally with a redeem code only to find out there ISNT one!
All movies should have this by now its 2023! and if they dont it should be noted in a BIG HEADER on this listing on the main page of the title.
Not cool, no I have to go buy a HDR 4K players for probably a lot of money that I dont want to spend.

My very first 4K DVD, what a disappointment. Picture is extremely dark, even with my brightness setting set at Max. Watching the standard Blu-ray DVD of this movie on my Samsung 4K Blu-ray player, and upscaling to 4K, gives a much better picture. To add insult to injury, halfway through the movie in Chapter 20 the DVD switches to an entirely different movie. I am returning this product today.

it's kinda long...

Zach Snyder shot and stylized this piece quite well. However, it drags in certain places...and in other places, too. This has been noted before, but Mr. Snyder thrives on "the moment" in his films. Going for the next moment to the next moment...and slowing down the film's speed to make certain you indeed see each and every moment.
Also, right from the get-go you should notice something missing in the opening credits: Frank Miller. He, in fact, sued to have his name removed from this film as he was so disgusted from it vs. his graphic novel. While watching the movie, it does make you want to read his novel (in hopes that it's substantially better). For example, does the graphic novel contain many Hollywoodized vague cliched fallacies trying to be philosophical truths without any debate and argument?
The movie does have a fairly nice soundtrack. Several Bob Dylan songs Woop! and a couple Leonard Cohen's.
Will I watch this movie again? Not sure, really.

One of several superhero,anti-hero movies I purchased for my teen daughter,this was the one movie she disliked.In her words,it was dark and depressing with a hopeless plot.Perhaps,the movie would be more enjoyable for an older demographic,but it certainly was not her sort of movie.

Just a GREAT Best Buy Exclusive! Best Buy has the BEST special packaging for a lot of DVD and this is one of the BEST! Wish this could have had a SteelBook treatment but this is GREAT! The movie alone is GREAT! Just the extra stuff is GREAT to look at! Pick it up! It will be a collector's item!
What's great about it: The packaging & colletable disc holder! Dr. Manhattan is GREAT!
What's not so great: The Price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Didn't know a thing about Watchmen before viewing it. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great comic book character movie. Doctor Manhattan was a loser though. A big panzy through the whole movie and then doing the unforgivable to Rorschach at the end.
What's great about it: Rorschach was a great character to be introduced to. Made the whole movie very enjoyable.
What's not so great: Doctor Manhattan was a loser. Especially for what he did to Rorschach. I hope he burns in hell.
I would recommend this to a friend!
