Very nice camera.

This camera is a snap to setup and with its free mobile app can be viewed on your mobile device from anywhere. Very nice image quality, with only a slight delay in its delivery on remote viewing. The setup and install of this camera was easier than deciding where to mount it. Skeptical at first, I found I liked it enough to purchase a second one.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchase two of these cameras for home on year ago, i have sometimes, problems with connectivity but not that often, the quality of the video is great, the zoom work like charm is good, you can identify persons and car brands (no plates) from where they are located 25 feet away from the street , night vision has a straight light so you see the person or object clear, if is in front of the camera (night time). at the beginning i have problems with the recording files, but now the override feature go over the old recordings on the 32 GB card for months, very sensitive with the rain, something missing is the microphone
I'm always amazed when good hardware is let down by poor software. Overall I'd buy this again, but mainly because I have a history of buying terrible alternatives.
The hardware is great, I love the small external camera made possible by the internal box. The local SD card ensures you don't miss anything, even if your broadband is down. Great that you can view the clips remotely from your phone on the app.
The main gripe is the app is so slow 'connecting' (whatever it's actually doing - I've 250mb broadband). Another is you get an alert every night when it switches from day mode to night / IR, annoying.
But also it alerts constantly when I'm in my garden. I guess it makes sense but realistically it's so annoying I may have to disable alerts. It could avoid this by not alerting me on my phone when my phone (and me) are at home. I don't want the Samsung server tracking me constantly, but my phone could suppress alerts when I'm at home.
These improvements would convert me from relatively happy to an advocate! C'mon Samsung!
Pros: small external camera
Cons: choppy software
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would have been great if it recorded in hd can view it live in 1080 but recorded stuff is all 480i and I have a 100mbps connection. Had it for over a year now, tried all settings, no good.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Not high def, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this product for several years and it was excellent in the beginning, but has become steadily unreliable and the performance is increasingly poor. The web interface is a terrible experience, and providing access *only* via Internet Explorer (which Microsoft no longer supports) ridiculous in this day and age. My cameras will no longer connect to Wisenet reliably, so I guess it is time to move on to a different product. It appears that Samsung does not want to be in the security camera business any more?
