Come on, you've got to have seen this during it's theatrical release!!!!!! words can't describe how AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, ASTONISHING, STUPENDOUS, PHEOENOMENAL (and every other pronoun) this movie was!!! And now the Blu-Ray takes the experience just that much further!!!! Needlessly to say:HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!
What's great about it: Plot, action, comedy, adventure: All rolled into 1 incredible movie!!!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

JJ Abrams is becoming his generation's Steven Spielberg and this Star Trek movie is as great as anything he has done so far. This big budget treatment did an outstanding job of casting young actors that accurately represent the stars of the original Star Trek of the 1960s. Its a tough, gritty movie that has a couple of laughs and the picture and sound are state of the art.
This is a great movie and hopefully Abrams will make several more.
What's great about it: Excellent Homage to The Original TV Series
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great package for collectors

The movie is a great way to reintroduce the characters and the overall plot line to a new generation. The acting was perfect, the casting was perfect, and the story was exceptional. The extras on the dvd set are a great compliment to the movie. You really get to see the fun the cast had making this movie and how they achieved a phenominal new iteration of the Star Trek universe.
This particular packageing was a great draw as the divison badges of the enterprise crew are the icon most people associate with Star Trek. To have a set included with the dvd was a great way to enjoy the experience of Star Trek.
What's great about it: The movie is fantastic and the extras are well worth it
What's not so great: The display box for the badges is a bit chincy
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an incredible, fast-paced and action packed movie. Yet at the same time it captures deep emotions and is still able to incorporate humor into the mix. This is one of my favorite movies of all time and I'm sure that just about everyone can find something to like about this movie.
What's great about it: This is a great collectors edition for die-hard fans of the movie
What's not so great: A bit too much lens flare
I would recommend this to a friend!

The movie is great, I fell it is the best Trek film ever. The casting was very good. Acting was also the best. Watching was a thrill.
What's great about it: Great writing and the rest

I originally purchased the original dvd's when they came out and was not very impressed with the look. These remasters are miles ahead of the original release on dvd. Guess I'll be selling my old dvd's back.
What's great about it: The digitally remastered version is just so much better than the original dvd release.
What's not so great: Some episode info would have been nice
I would recommend this to a friend!

Badges made of heavy metal not cheap plastic. Four different insignias.
Oh yeah and movie was good also. Of course I'd already seen it 3 times in 3 different theaters. Imax version was assume!
