Love this freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer looks so nice. Plus I love the variability, should we ever want to use it as a refrigerator. The temp readout is handy to have, especially when the electricity goes out. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Yes, the door is tough to open if you just closed it, but I'd rather have that than our previous one that didn't seal immediately after opening.

Frigidair - Is This the Best You Got!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had it for about 3 weeks. It sits out in the garage. It works good and I have noticed it being quit noisy at times just like many others have said. I can barely hear it when the car is running. Excellent interior lighting

Awesome Freezer

I can just glance at it and know it's working without opening. I haven't used but I do like the feature that it can be used as a refrigerator also

Beautiful, but some annoyances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great looking appliance, and has the smudge-proof stainless steel finish. There are a couple of downsides, however. The door storage is apparently designed for a refrigerator (this is a design feature for people who can't make up their minds). I don't freeze bottles of milk. The startup noise is very noticable, so much so that I thought there was a problem with my computer (my office shares a wall with the kitchen).
The door is extremely hard to open, even after it has been closed for over an hour - my old freezer was also hard to open, but only for a few minutes after the door was closed.

Hey DavidDJ, thank you for sharing your feedback. The tightness in the door seal indicates that the gasket is sealing properly. If you're opening the freezer, I suggest gently sliding your hand around the gasket and door frame to loosen the seal so that you can open the door. I hope this helps!
