Gurgling

Great for the garage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a side-by-side in our garage. When it got cold, the freezer would thaw and the refrigerator would sometimes freeze. We bought two of these. One to use as a freezer and one to use as a refrigerator. The current cold snap has our garage near 20 degrees. We have had no trouble with our ice cream thawing or our veggies freezing. The manual says that the refrigerator shouldn't freeze as long as it stays above 10 degrees. This is the only solution that I could find that works in a garage during winter.

Great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this about a month ago and we absolutely love it! We were going to buy a deep freezer to keep in the garage but we found this instead. It goes perfect with the rest of our Frigidaire Gallery appliances and the best part is if we don't need it for a freezer, we can use it as a second refrigerator and it is super spacious inside! Plus the door locks so if you need to keep something secret in it like a surprise birthday cake it's perfect.

Awesome Freezer

Great quality, but missing something.

bright lights inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer to replace a chest freezer. We are thrilled with this stand up freezer. The lighting is great, the drawers and door storage are fantastic. Door is hard to open, but don't mind that.

DO NOT BUY!

Hidden within the Owner's Manual is the requirement to have a 3" free clearance on ALL sides of this unit. That means you need 27.5" of counter depth and almost 35" of free space with the handle.
Also, it requires that it not be placed anywhere that could exceed 110 degrees. This would prevent use in an unconditioned garage as well in the South.
Anyone want to by a brand new freezer that cannot be installed anywhere?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
