why is the door not reversible ?

Want to purchase two of these to put side by side but your specs say door is not reversible ,anyway around this? I understand that there is wiring going to the door for the external controls . Hard for me to understand why its not an included feature even if only buying one. Most peoples kitchens require a particular swing whether it be right or left.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator, a little over a month ago, to replace another freezerless refrigerator. To say i love this refrigerator would be a complete understatement. The refrigerator is beautiful, clean sleek on the outside. The inside is incredibly spacious and all the storage space was very well thought out. All the storage spaces are in the perfect spot and are the perfect size. The refrigerator has a super strong seal so I'm not worried about wasted energy. All and all I am beyond pleased with this purchase. I feel confident that this refrigerator will last a very long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great refrigerator (haven't tried freezer)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy I bought this... just wish i measured better, had to trip an 1/8 inch off my cabinets and it slid in just fine.
Also am building up arm muscles, the suction on the door is really good and tight.
Tons of room in the fridge and keep everything at a perfect temp.
It would be nice if the temp gage would lock, my kid kept thinking he'd be funny and move the temp up and down, not realizing the effect of the food possibly spoiling. but this was a learning lesson.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great freezer/refrigerator - very energy efficient

I bought two of these, one to be used as a refrigerator and the other to be used as a freezer. These two replaced two freezers and one refrigerator in my garage. I have a solar panel and net metering system. Because of these repalcements, I am saving about 20 kwh per day. As a result my solar panels are prodcing more electricty (about 29 KWH per day) tha I am consuming. I have had these solar panels for four years. Until I replaced these 30 year old refrigerators and freezers by these energy efficient Frigidaire units this had never happened. This might save me about $2,000/year.

Way too hard to open

Love the design/space and look. Absolutely hate opening the door. The suction is so tight that I have to use one hand on the handle and the other hand on the fridge (or a foot on the bottom) to break the seal. Luckily, I don't have little kids. It takes muscle and coordination to open the door. An older person would also have problems. I would never buy this model again and regret getting two of them (1 for a freezer and 1 for a frig).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this refrigerator after going to 4 different stores. This is the best fridge ive ever bought that wasnt crammed with too much mess. I didnt want an ice maker because i have a built in one. I didnt want french doors. I didnt want a pull out freezer or water despenser which all take up so much space. And in finding this refridgerator i was a happy camper for what i was getting. Compareable models were much smaller and no real space in them for the value. This offers space, functionality , warranty and a great price. Good Job on this model.

In fact I have it filled to capacity right now after having it for only three weeks! Yep, I went out and bought a half of side of organic pasture raised beef and a ton of sourdough breads. I love the light inside so you can see everything, no more dark corners. The drawers and shelves are terrific for storing smaller items and keeping your freezer neat and tidy. Which was always a problem with my fridge freezers.
The temp gauge on the outside is a definite plus by letting me know what’s going on inside.
It is extremely quiet if fact I had to check to make sure I had it plugged in it was so quiet. It is also truly I’d fingerprint proof, unlike my other stainless steel appliances.
This has to be the best appliance I think I’ve ever bought,mere words simply cannot convey how extremely happy I am with this purchase.
