Good Deal

We purchased 2 for our garage: one is a fridge; one is a freezer. They are great. The only complaint would be that they do not have reversible door handles--left side only.

An amazing freezer

Recurrent electric power failures are no longer of concern, bright interior lighting make finding items a breeze, no more lost items at the bottom of the old chest freezer it replaced, much better space utilization, and finally the electricity savings over the service life of this freezer will almost pay for the purchase price.

Perfect for a large family

We bought two of these 6 months ago. One to use as a fridge and one to use as a freezer. We love all the space! They have a very tight seal and can be almost hard to open for the first little bit. The one we are using as a fridge had water collecting in the bottom of the unit. Frigidaire sent someone to seal a small leak and we haven't had any problems since. Despite that small mishap, I would still recommend this unit!

Big and bright inside

Like the big ang bright interior. Probably more than we need, but being energy-efficient was a big plus. Like the outside digital display and the alarm if the door is open or temperature . The suction on the door is great. The option of going from freezer or refrigerator is good. Over all wife is happy to have the extra storage. And built in the U.S.A.

Good space!

We bought this because of the extra space for food. It is really cold and keeps food fresh. The only issue is that there seems to be water that collect in the bottom that must be wiped out or it will leak on the floor. We need this to be checked by a technician.

Love this Frigidaire!

So glad we bought Frigidaire! Love feature that it can be used as a fridge or freezer. We bought two units. One is used as a freezer and the other as a fridge. The 20+ square feet holds a lot. Plus, I believe both being insulated for freezer use makes the fridge stay colder. I hope Frigidaire continues to make this model for many years. I would buy it again.

Update on opening the door
on July 17, 2016

Well, leaning backwards to open the door resulted in me falling when the door opened, so that wasn't a good idea. We discovered a much easier way to open the door. The door is held shut by a very strong magnetic strip all the way around the door. I can easily use one finger to lift a small part of the strip away from the body of the refrigerator and then the door opens easily. I am trying to remember to do that in various places along the strip to avoid damaging the strip. Since we are using it as a refrigerator, we have to open the door numerous times every day. I fear that that kind of use will eventually damage the strip and it will need to be replaced. If anyone has a better idea on how to get the door to open more easily, I would appreciate the suggestions.
