Does not cook, you have to add cooked vegetables, so it is rather misleading as the ad leads you to believe that you just throw stuff in the blender and with such a time saving, it cooks you soup. You must add so many ingredients that are already cooked, it makes no sense to use the bullet to make soup in, easier to make it in a pot, where you can cook the squash and onions and vegetables in one pot and then just use a blending wand if you want it puree style. As far as a way to make vegetable smoothies, it is fantastic, but the RX part is not worth it, you can save yourself money if you just buy the regular bullet and have an amazing smoothie, fruit and or vegetable maker.

I am enjoying a "ginger snap" drink as I write this review. We have been "health nuts" since the 80's, giving up smoking, alcohol consumption in 73, working out, taking vitamins, etc. BUT, in 2013 my wife started having some major health issues and currently living in assisted living. Last August I had a heart attack while playing golf, (tough game). I had been seeing your TV ads and we decided to make the NutriBullet our Christmas gift. I make a batch for us to cover 3 days and we have been doing it for 3 weeks now. Starting to see results, maintaining a good weight, good energy, and we are looking forward to better results. Plus, it is fun to experiment and try new combinations of fruits and veggies.

If I did not have to pay for shipping I would return this item. The $89.00 nutri bullet (bought at Bed bath & beyond) works just as well except it doesn't auto shut off. I wasted my money!

Well lets start by saying I have purchased 3 of the bullets in the last 5 years and each and every one has burned out not to long after the one year warranty. The funny thing is I thought is was a very good machine but if it was you wouldn't have to keep getting a new one every two years so I give this one 7 thumbs down!!!

Even lazy people love the Nutribull Rx

This product is my best buy for 2014. Lazy as I am ,I have been turning out the best soups I have ever made. I throw a mix of veggies rind and peelings and all in large roasting pan sprayed in olive oil , sling what ever seasoning I want, roast for a hour. vegetables are still a little crunchy when I remove. Prepare what ever liquid base I desire and load the Rx up for the seven minute soup deal. The roasted flavor of the soup will knock your socks off !!!! The soup de jour is Butternut squash and veggies left over from party veggie tray. Told you I was lazy but I'm not wasteful. lol. Wish I could show you a picture..................

Broke within 3 uses

As many of the reviewers wrote about the rubber gasket coming loose... mine did too. It was only the 3rd use and it started squirting juice everywhere! After an hour of trying to get the blade off the cup, we realized that the rubber gasket had come loose and wrapped itself around the blade. Very disappointing considering its a $200 blender! My dinky magic bullet hasn't even had this issue.

Poor design.

I have a smaller NutriBullet that I use at my second home and it works very well. I bought the bigger unit because I liked the soup feature. The rubber ring fell out the second time I used it so I assumed it was so it could be cleaned. When it fell out and got chewed up, I had smoothie running out of the bottom of the unit. I'm concerned that it damaged the motor, although I did put the empty cup back on and turned it on. The motor did run, but I won't really know if it is okay until I get the replacement lid. I looked online and saw other complaints about this happening, so it seems to me the design is flawed.I would recommend the smaller unit, but not the large one.
