The package I received look like it had already been open. No manual. Everything was just thrown back in the box. If I’m getting a returned item why am I charged for new item?

Bought two of these MD units several years ago, 2nd one still in closet, first one has been making heated emulsifications since 2010.
more often, I use the standard model NB-101B UNIT.
BOUGHT TWO OF THESE TOO, GAVE ONE TO GOOD FRIEND.

I bought this for myself for Christmas and was very excited! The first time I used it worked great, but the cup leaked a little. I assumed that maybe I had not tightened everything properly. Second time I used it the leak was WORSE. Almost all contents of the cup leaked out before I could even pull the cup off the base all the way. I had seen the problem reported randomly through out the reviews I had read, but it was so rarely mentioned that I assumed it was operator error and went ahead and ordered mine. It did blend everything really well.... for what that is worth. If the leaking was not present this would have been perfect! Easy to clean, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
