the socket cog that turns the blade wears out easly there just a small screw holding in place. And there are no replacement parts for them. I guess they want you to buy a hole new blender

Bought two of these MD units several years ago, 2nd one still in closet, first one has been making heated emulsifications since 2010.
more often, I use the standard model NB-101B UNIT.
