Maybe it's because I used generic recipes for my smoothies, but all three I've made have been room temperature when they were finished. Not cold at all and it took twice as long as the little smoothie machine I paid 19.99 for. And it makes cold smoothies every time.

I have had this product for about a month. Here is my short honest opinion about it, but before I get to it, I must tell you I like the NB RX. I think it is a very good attempt at creating an optimal health product, but even thought the thing spins at about 10,000 miles an hour, and it sounds like it too, it will not make the drink super thin. Of course this also depends on what and how much you put in there. But it will usually be thick. Try to put different things in on different days. In other words, mix up your recipe or you'll feel like your drinking the same thing every day. My wife does, I get green Shrek juice every morning. If you put ice into your mix thinking it will come out nice and cool, guess again. The friction only after 1 minute will warm your cubes. I tried the heat function, it worked pretty good. I was so excited to try it that I put radishes in with potatoes and chicken stock. What was I thinking?!! Tasted like horse feet. No, never tried.... Anyway, as I said, it seems to do a good job. Maybe I will give it a better review after I get some new recipes. Oh, and yes, it does sound like a 747 taking off!
