I love this blender however in the last two years I have had to purchase two new blenders. It is very upsetting. I expect a high quality product, when paying so much for it. I reached out in regard to my blender not blending and after already trying to replace the blade and it still not working. I was told that basically I’m out of luck due to the one year warranty. I was told that I have to purchase a whole new device. This is not what I wanted to hear at all. They didn’t work with me or anything. I refuse to purchase another one and have the same things happen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have loved using this. I use the large container which makes enough for 2 mornings! It has helped me loose weight, keep it off, and drinking it helps keep my digestion working. It is a bit noisy, but since my wife died, I don't wake anyone up. I used a little one for years but this is much better. I think I will try some soup recipes this winter.

I bought several years ago ,followed instructions, put in frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen banana handful of greens (spinach, kale, cabbage, mustard, or collard) some seeds (flax,chia,sesame, hemp) some nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, cashews) sometimes (turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and many other ingredients). Often add an apple cored no seeds (they're not good for you) carrots, celery, broccoli,; absolutely love the broccoli s soup. If not using frozen fruits I'll use ice cubes. Be careful don't pack it over the fill line put the frozen fruits or ice cubes just above the greens fit the blades to the bottom of your pitcher snugly little noise when the frozen items go through the blades, but they liquefy everything no chunks or pieces. Sometimes I put an egg in my breakfast smoothie shell and all,sometimes I can feel a little grit but not bad. I love this machine. And I have had a lot of different ones since 1965 when I got my first Hamilton Beach.
