I like how it works, BUT it is so loud it scares my dog. Other issue is how difficult it is putting it togther and then taking it apart (harder). Who thought only young people want to be healthy?

I read some great reviews and decided to make this purchase. As mentioned in some reviews, the gasket kept popping off from around the blade within a week. It was easy to pop back on. But then 2 weeks after purchasing and using daily for smoothies with frozen fruit, the machine infused a burned motor taste into the smoothies. There was no indication of a problem prior to this such as strange sounds or smells. Needless to say, I immediately returned the Nutribullet Rx and bought a Nutribullet ninja IQ.

Best kitchen addition ever!

I got mine 2 weeks ago and I love it. No more wasted produce, no more feeling bloated, no more waking up with acid reflux. I have even gotten my 69 year old mother who usually hates veggies and would live on pizza if she could to start drinking smoothies with me in the morning and the wonderful sound in the evening. You don't even have to follow recipes to enjoy the tasty benefits. It is so handy to be able to have an entire meals worth of nutrition with such simple clean up. My mom, who usually stays in bed 95% of her time and is depressed and in pain from arthritis, has been getting up and been more positive and social. I think I may have found something to save us both. This is a quick and easy life saver. Everyone should have one.

Great if u don't hv the original unit

I have the regular NutriBullet & from the commercial on tv, thought I could simply add vegetables and hv soup ... All soup recipes in book have 'prepping' of sautéing onions or 'steeming' vegetables ... Therefore, the need of other pans or microwave disillusioned me of the simplicity of making soup ... That was the reason I had gotten this particular unit.
I am able to use my regular NutriBullet to blend, and then 'cook' my soup on the stove (and save $179) ...
But for someone who doesn't hv the regular unit & isn't concerned with using other pans, etc for soup ... I think it would be a great addition to their kitchen! It's a larger size w/greater toms ... They, I'm sure, would love it. It's a great unit ... But I'm able to do same with what I have ... I love my initial unit and use it daily!
