I'd used daily a Vita-Mix Prep for ten years and depended on the 2hp motor to grind up cacao beans, almonds, etc.. I found scraping out my food from around the (fixed) blades at the bottom of the tall container very awkward and longed for a machine as powerful as the Vita-Prep but with a detachable blade assembly, and a smaller cup. Et voila! The Nutribullet Rx is even more powerful than the V.P. (2.3 hp motor) and grinds up cacao beans, pumpkin seeds, etc. beautifully. It even automatically times the blending to the 60 seconds I used to have to count to with the V.P.. And, of course, now I can detach the blade assembly and easily access the mixture in the small container. Now I'm doing more blending than ever because it's so convenient (sorry, Nutribullet - I call it blending and not extraction, a word I save for juicing...) It's a bit noisy - what can you expect with such power - but I throw a towel over it as it's working and that helps a lot. I've come to consider this machine a vital part of my food preparation two-to-three times a day.

Purchased the RX not even a month ago and let me tell you it is great. The many recipes and choices to make the smoothies is great. I also learned a lot about nutrition and what you can use for pain, inflammation, and weight loss. The recipes are also good and easy to make. They are also filling so no worries about them not filling you up. Can't say enough of how great this is. I would say go for it and enjoy.

I have owned my NutribulletRx for about 3 weeks and have completely fallen for it. I experiment a great deal with ingredients and sometimes I have a winning combination and others...not so much. I am making an effort to eat in a more healthy fashion and it just makes getting the fruit and veggies into my diet more convenient. Also, I can eat things raw that, in their original raw state, I would not have liked them. Throw in some protein powder and life is good. It is a great addition to my kitchen appliances. Since I generally use it on a daily basis, it has a permanent place on my kitchen counter.
