Metal ball bearings fell out while blend

Had this for year and half. It always had a burning smell, today I heard metal grinding I stopped it, lifted the top and metal balls fell all over floor, it is now completely unusable

Works better than the Vitamixer

I have had this for about 4 years now. No problems whatsoever. I previously owned the Vitamixer and the motor gave out after 2 years. This so far has been a much better investment. We make our daily green smoothies and I am happy with it. Definitely would recommend.
