I have had the Nuri Bullet ^ mos and used 12 times and it stopped working. It leaked two times during use. I will return it

We've had the Magic Bullet for years and we quite happy with it. However, as our kids have gotten older and have bigger appetites, I wanted something bigger so I could make 2 smoothies at once. Very happy with our step up to this Nutri Bullet model. We can easily make 2-3 smoothies at once now, and the stronger power let's us pack in extras like nuts and seeds that the Magic Bullet couldn't grind. The bigger size also allows me to get more fruit and veggies in a serving.
I am overall very happy with this unit since I would have to deal with a bulky blender if I didn't have this option (which holds more but it's still more streamlined than a full blenderI. HOWEVER, I have taken away one star due to two issues I have encountered:
1. The seal isn't perfect and from time to time the unit leaks while blending. This only happens once in awhile, but I wish it was a stronger seal that would act more consistent.
2. Every once in awhile, I end up with a hot smoothie. I haven't figured out if I'm doing something wrong since I feel like all i do is push the on button, so maybe it's a glitch. I've had the unit for 2 months and this has happened twice, so only time will tell if this is a defect. If it is my user error, then there needs to be a stronger indication or set up for using this in soup mode.

I cannot comment on how long this will last, but since my Magic Bullet lasted for years, I believe the quality here will be the same. I also have not used the soup mode, so no comments there, but since it blends everything else so well, I would think it would make great soup!

This works so much better than my old blender. I love the feature that lets me make soup, and my first one was delicious. I wish I could get a flip-top travel lid like the other models have. One concern is the odor by the time it finishes blending. It smells a bit smoky but may be normal since it is so powerful.
