I am happy with how it works. Have not yet used the soup feature. It is quite noisy but if you can stand the noise for 1 minute it is worth it.

I have had this blender for a few months. Very sturdy, does a great job of blending anything I have put in it. So cool that it can make a delicious warm soup in 7 minutes. You will not be dissapointed. Priced very reasonably as well!
