Had it for approximately 1 1/2 months and it would leak all over. We returned it and went back to our trusty Ninja blender

Don't Be Fooled, It Will Burn Out

Don't be fooled by the size and sturdiness of this product. Its weakest link is the rotary which spins the blade. My room mates burned through 2 of these in less than 9 months through normal use. And unfortunately, there is no replacement part so a full replacement is necessary. I was very dissapointed to have to move on from this product and now find something else.

We were given this blender as a gift, within 1 month the motor had blown and we had to wait for this to be replaced. We have been using now for 1.5 years - but after every use it smelt like something had burnt and now we have come across same problem motor has gone on it again.
Definitely would not recommend!

I have owned or given as gifts almost all NB models. I have had the original, the 600, the 900 and my standard baby shower gift is the Baby Bullet. The 1700W Rx is simply awesome. No seeds, no grit, no spinach-morsels-in-your-teeth. And, it may be my imagination, but when I make a fruit and veg blast it seems naturally sweeter than in previous machines. Perhaps due to superior extraction? I don't have to add any sweeteners whatsoever. There is one accessory item I'd like to suggest to the NB Team now that there is the soup mode feature. 6 minutes and 45 seconds is not too long to make soup or the delightful hot chocolate, but it is a LOUD 6 minutes and 45 seconds. My husband is not too fond of that if he is watching TV near the kitchen. I would pay for a sound dampening 'cover' to fit over the machine in soup mode. I'll still give it 5 stars because it's such a well-engineered machine. Get one.

I just love how quickly my powerful new Nutribullet rx makes smoothies, as well as ready-to-eat soup! I have yet to utilize the recipe & tips website, but have learned a lot through the Facebook page and tips/recipes from David Avocado Wolfe. Anything I'd add? Yes, a chopper blade that just chops fruits and veggies for dishes that don't need to be pureed. Perhaps a future model with a slower speed and lesser time option could offer this. Also, an ice-cream maker mode. Always thinking toward the future. For now, I'm enjoying all of the ease and energy the nutribullet rx has brought into my life, as well as the lifestyle change of chopping veggies and pre-freezing them for later-week cooking & smoothies. I also want to give a quick shout-out to my new Nutribullet family with gratitude for their posts. I've spent full afternoons just trying and tweaking your suggested combinations and working toward narrowing down what my family and I will continue to make and eat!
