Loved it until it started leaking

I used my new Nutribullet about 10 times to make fruit smoothies. I loved it. I had been wanting a nutribullet for a while and I finally had one. Very convenient, and the auto shutoff featured allowed me to get ready without worrying about turning it off. Unfortunately, without any reason for it, my blade part started leaking. Now I can’t use it. I never dropped it or used any unusually hard items other than about 3 almonds at a time. Now I need to spend more money to replace this part.

The motor went out in less than 8 months. It worked okay until it didn't work. I had a an older model NutriBullet we loved. Wish I stayed with that model. It seemed to mix the contents of our smoothie better.

I received it as a gift. In the beginning I loved it, used it every day. After a few months the paint start to peel and now the blades are dull. I guess it's not meant for daily usuage. Ps: only thing ever used in it is frozen fruit with juice or water.

When it comes to using the big/tall cup, it doesn't always want to start. It only works once out of every three tries. The small cup works fine all the time. I'm tempted to return and ask for new one. I also didn't need to buy the RX version since all the soup ingredients have to be cooked first and then creamed in the RX, I could have done this with the less expensive version. Thus, I don't see any benefit. It does have more power than my previous version and my green smoothies do come out a bit creamier/smoother.
