This movie completely went "UP" and beyond my expectations. I originally bought the movie to test my new calibration. After figuring out why the movie had 4 dics included, I finally popped it in. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a great overall movie. I don't have kids, and i thought this movie kept my attention. GREAT JOB PIXAR.
What's great about it: The story keeps you interested from start to finish. Unbelievable picture quality
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

Blu-ray movie is great but Digital Copy activation

I'm not going to write about Up itself since there are plenty of reviews about it.
The Up Digital Copy has new security than previous Pixar movies. The Digital Copy activation process looked the same but after activated, it showed copying the Digital Copy to the hard drive but only a few seconds later it stopped reading from the DVD disc. There is no file on the hard drive. Checking the Digital Copy DVD, WMV directory, it has zero byte file. There is no way to reactivate or reinstall the Digital Copy once it failed to transfer to the hard drive. Even Disney Q&A site said there's no way to reinstall the Digital Copy. It's like the Digital Copy activation better work the first time or Digital Copy DVD disc becomes an useless piece of plastic.
Limiting Digital Copy to one activation per PC is already a joke, but if it fails to install, there's no way to repeat the process is far more than a joke of the value of Digital Copy. Disney needs to understand putting too much security into a product makes it useless.
What's great about it: Like all Pixar movies, Up is great and have more mature storyline for older audiences
What's not so great: Digital Copy activation is horrible

A touching story (when did an animated movie bring a tear to your eye, really) about comingout from behind your defenses and the triumph of love where you least expect it.
What's great about it: Wonderful product, digital copy, extras

Great movie for the young and old. When I saw the preview for this movie I was not interested in seeing it. My daughter wanted to rent it and we did. It is a great movie even for adults. It has everything from laughs to making you want to shed a tear. It has great characters and an awesome storyline. After we rented it we went straight to BestBuy to buy it that is how good this movie is. It is in my top 5 kids movies of all time.
What's great about it: The story
What's not so great: Nothing

UP is Fantastic

We took 250 7th Graders to see UP. Within a short time the kids were captivated and SILENT, that hardly ever happens with middle school students. They laughed, they watched, some had tears, and at the end they applauded.
I loved it so much I talked my wife into going to see it with me, and once again, UP hit the mark. It is funny, but it is so heartwarming like no animated feature or few regular films that I have ever seen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I LOVED Up!!!!! I went to see it with my Aunt and I thought it was great!!!! The actors made us laugh and the story was fantastic. It is a movie great for all ages. It would be great for any occasion and family get-togethers. Nothing was bad about it and everything is good about it. It is worth your money and you would LOVE it!!!
