This unit replaced a 31 year old unit that was beginning to fail and the inner door shelves were cracking and breaking. This unit is new, clean, and fully functional as it should be. I hope this unit will work as many years as the last one did!

Love our new fridge!

We moved to a new home last week and replaced all the appliances. I decided to go with the GE Slate and I'm so glad I did. The refrigerator is gorgeous. Very spacious and bright inside. The ice shoots out a little harder/faster than our previous GE Profile fridge but once you learn to hold the glass closer to the outlet, it's no problem. Water is good and cold and controls on the front are subtle and attractive. The freezer shelves hold a lot and it's easy to locate what I'm looking for. I wish the drawers in the fridge slid in and out a little more smoothly but that's not a big issue. When I pull straight out, they slide fine but I'm always in a hurry and try to reach in quickly. That's not as effective... All in all, I'm very happy with my new fridge.

Love this fridge. great features like an outside panel the tells the inside temperature of refrigerator, large shelves on the door, more than adequate inside storage and bright inside lighting.
